Help oh wise ones! Now with scarey pics!

Snuggle, there is definitely help out there if you want to explore the psychological issues. You should be able to get a referral from your GP for counselling/therapy which would help you look at things from a different angle. Some GP's have a counsellor attached to their surgery. It's worth...

Will I still See a Loss?

Hi Victoria, I have a chronic illness and I'm on loads of meds (included the dreaded steroids), can't exercise often either but I'm still losing weight so don't worry! ;) I'm a Jeremy fan too and my OH loves the show and cooks my dinners - lol I'm a lucky lady!! :8855:

    Asda chick pea dahl anyone?

I've got a tin in the cupboard, haven't tried it yet. OH had to ask the manager where to find it! Do you have it just with rice or with veggies as well

Green Days Can veggies really lose weight on SW?

I'm veggie and doing the green plan. I lost 3lb the first week and 1lb the following 2 weeks. I'm not sure how much is to do with the diet though as I haven't had any alcohol since I started the diet and feel that it's stopping the alcohol that's made me lose weight, rather than the diet...

Your No1 piece of advice for a newbie?

Well done Jenpen, that's brilliant! :happy036: Looks like I need to keep posting then I can search for the elusive button too! ;)

Your No1 piece of advice for a newbie?

Jenpen I'm new to this too so I was just taking a peek at your thread ;) If you find the 'thanks' button, can you let me know where it is please!:confused: Hope the weigh in went well and good luck with the diet :)

    Losing the will to continue

That's really frustrating! :sigh: Don't give up - I'm too new to this to offer help but hopefully someone else will come up with an idea. Hope you can kick it off and get it moving again. :wave_cry:

    feeling miserable

You have so many things going on here :( it's difficult to know where to start. Sounds like you've got an uphill battle as far as convincing your hubby that you want to lose weight is concerned. I think you've got to do it for yourself - maybe freeze the takeaways he buys for you and then he...

    How easy is SW?

I agree, it's great :D I've only been on it for 3 weeks but I'm loving it. One thing I would say though is go to a group rather than join online - I wish I had because without this forum I'd have been stuck. ;)

    Gluten free bread

Many thanks Laura, will add them to my list. :D
  153. Terrycb

    Gluten free bread

No, I haven't got a green button Laura. :( That would be great if you could copy it for me, thanks. ;)
  154. Terrycb

    Gluten free bread

Thanks Laura. I can't find a new HE section - do you go to a group, not sure if the websites are different for group and online membership?
  155. Terrycb

    Gluten free bread

I'm with Bodyoptimise online - I've got their list of HEB but no gluten free on the list. Gluten free bread in the main list is 3 syns. Wish I'd gone to a group now, think it would have been easier! :sigh:
  156. Terrycb

    Gluten free bread

Does anyone know if I can substitute the bread on the HEB list for gluten free please? I can only eat gluten free bread. :sigh:

    So chuffed, need to share

    Wednesday Weighers

Well done Brooke! :party0011: I'm doing bodyoptimise too, this is my second week and I'm still confused by it all! I lost 1lb this week, a bit disappointed because I've been so good and no alcohol has touched my lips for 2 whole weeks either :angel09: Good luck to those at wi...

    Hi :o)

Hi there! I'm new to this as well, I'm on my second week so probably not much help to you but thought I'd say hello anyway! :D I only lost 1lb this week and I've been really good but at least we lost some! Good luck for tomorrow and you're right, it's no good worrying about what's done...

    Oranges

Thanks, this is all new to me so I'm still learning. :) Just didn't understand but now I do. Thing is I don't like oranges but I do like the juice. ;)
  163. Terrycb

    Oranges

lol thanks everyone, I guess it's going to be my daily syn!! :p
  164. Terrycb

    Oranges

hmm I see what you're saying but I only have the juice of one orange so I would have thought it was the same as eating one orange. Thanks for your reply, I'm finding it all confusing, need time to get used to it!
  165. Terrycb

    Oranges

Just wondered if anyone could tell me why an orange is syn free but the juice of an orange is one syn? Every morning I have orange juice, would I really be better eating an orange?? :flirt2:

  171. Terrycb

    Hi

Hi everyone :) I'm really pleased to find this forum. I joined SW online last Wednesday and was beginning to panic as there doesn't seem to be any online support or forums. I found it all very confusing and was beginning to despair when I came upon this site purely by chance. My weight has...

Diagnosed with Lupus and put on Lupus - Can I still lose weight??

Hi Jessie, sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I have lupus and fibromyalgia amongst other things. I've been taking steroids for nearly 6 years now and I'm 2st heavier than I was before my diagnosis. I did lose 1st on a diet a couple of years ago but my weight has creeped up again so I'm trying...

    Online SW

Hi Shazza, I started SW online last Wednesday. Must say I found it very confusing for the first few days but starting to get my head round it now and think I've made the right decision especially now I've found this forum, it's a great help. Good luck with whatever you decide.:)

Hi Georgia, I'm new on here too. I started SW online last Wednesday so will be weighing in on the same day! I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming at the moment but sure I'll get my head round it eventually. Good luck for Wednesday.
