Just an update. Came off Exante the beginning of July as I was having bad stomach cramps and doctor said it was possible gallstones from the rapid weight loss. Was advised to stay off for a while till they pass.

Hit a bit of a wall and been stuck at 230 pounds for 2 weeks now almost.
I think it's time to come off Exante and get a healthy eating plan and up the exercise to lose the last 10-15 pounds or so.

Being 5 weeks through this diet it now feels normal to not be eating.
I don't feel hungry at all and can refuse food pretty much 100% all of the time.
On those rare occassions when we go out for a meal I now know the right foods to order to keep me on track. I even swapped chips for jacket...
Almost through week 5. After week 1 it has flewn by. Scales are knackered so won't be a weigh in till next week.
Biggest suprise is that in 5 weeks my chest has gone from 49inches to 44inches. Just wish the beer gut would move as fast.

I went for the shakes only now as well. Plus I have unsalted nuts for a snack and extra protein.
Simple : Burn more calories than you take in.
Generally be more active than you used to be, don't snack.
Eat 3 square meals a day and treat yourself once a week.

Cracking loss that mate. Yeah I've stepped up the exercise now and doing 30mins cardio , 30mins weight training 4 times a week.

I have always suffered from palpatations since I was about 16.

Yeah, I managed to do it last week and start the very next morning.

Well only down 2.5lbs this week but had a bit of a weird week as I have already explained. For some odd reason I gained 4-5lbs when I jumped on scales on Monday after eating a meal.
Now it's friday and I am down 7.5lbs from Monday but it works out only a 2.5lb loss from last weeks weight.

Had a bit of a weird week this week.
After eating a Tuna Salad last Thursday my weight seems to be going up and not down and I have stuck to the diet since the meal.
Body is acting weird.
So far since last Friday I have gained a pound a day.
Very odd, but still going strong.
I only ate a Tuna Salad last week when my Dad visitied and 2 days later the scales said I had gained 3lbs haha.
Slightly worried that when I do actually refeed with a healthy new eating regime the weight will just go back on.

I jumped on the scales 3 days early just as a sneaky peek and was 7lbs down also and I am in the same region as you for weight and height.
Then on my official weigh in I only lost a further 2lbs.

I do 30mins of weight training every night as I don't want to lose muscle mass. I walk to work most days as well.
After my weight training i do feel a bit light headed but i have my soup and I am fine then.
Could not hack the Mushroom soup lastnight. Just did not want to go down. Ended up binning it and having another Vegetable Soup.
Going to have to order 7 more soups or shakes for the last week
Going back to school days and PE lessons anything over 6-7litres can have a negative effect on the body. It's a case of too much of a good thing.
I aim for 3-4 litres a day not including the water intake in soup and shakes.

I am dealing with the pub okay I have refused twice this week already and going to go to cinema with the missus tomorrow night. The footy season is drawing to a close anyway so thats a big plus.
I agree with what Aaron said, I have a wardrobe of clothes that used to fit nicely and I enjoyed wearing them.
Previous attempts at getting in shape I always said "Sod it" and went to the pub.
This time around I want to be able to fit nicely into them again and that spurs me on.
This is Day 2 for me, in all honesty I am not that hungry and I usually have my butties around 12ish in work. Gonna push my exante bar back until 2ish.

Yesterday morning I was 261.2 pounds. I decided my scales needed updating and I bought a new pair lastnight and weighed myself again this morning and it's down to 258.2 pounds.
3 pound loss in 1 day. Either last scales were on there last legs or I have shifted some water weight in 24hours.
