    bah humbug to Christmas!

For me doing red, I was so delighted having to HEXb choices that I stuck firmly to toast / cracker bread and didn't really use them as part of my main meal. Simply for my personal taste though. Having done ee for a year the novelty of having double bread hasn't worn off even 2 weeks later! Good...

    bah humbug to Christmas!

Just thought I'd pop in to say that I've been in the same boat as you, I put on (whispers) 8!! at Christmas and it took me the whole of Jan and half of Feb to lose it. By beginning of March I had at last start to lose a pound, 0.5 etc... Sorry, I know I'm getting boring, BUT... My consultant...

Lots to lose ! Anyone else got lots to lose!

Hi Shoegirl, I am 4 stone down, 6 to go and like you I think it's best to treat each day as a mini goal. I also try not to think of the overall number of stones to go, but instead focus on reaching the next 1/2 stone and getting my shiny. It's feels great getting those little babies!!

Extra Easy am confused about 1/3rd plate of superfree foods

As I understand it, sw recommend that you follow the 1/3 rule on every meal, however at least 2 meals a day must be superfree, but obviously the more superfree the better!

    Well that'll teach me!

Not just me then! I can't believe my stomach has become so very sensitive to fat. Looks like low fat is here to stay for good whether I'm up for it or not!! PS you'd have needed a gas mask to stand within 20 feet of me yesterday and I was in the car with hubby for 3 hours... He must really...

    Thursday Weighers

2lb off for me too but I was weighed in the morning instead of at night so it's a bit of a dubious one! Have realised that I'm just having a few too many syns most days so my focus for this week is to get them down to 10 without fail. I will succeed!!!
  13. Debsie_websie

    Well that'll teach me!

Well at least we know we will never be able to go back to our old habits again! I'm going to be having some plain pasta and salad for my tea!!
  14. Debsie_websie

    Well that'll teach me!

So... I had a 2lb weight loss on Tuesday and straight away went on a 2 night break. We had massive sw friendly breakfasts that kept us going all day and we weren't really up for going to the restaurant in the evening. Sooooo... We stopped at the takeaway and I got some chicken (no skin) and...

    Thursday Weighers

I can't weigh this Thursday evening because we're going away... My c has a class tomorrow morning which would mean a pretty guaranteed loss as I weigh a lot less in the morning, but I think I'm setting myself up for trouble the following week... Dilemma!!

    NSVs - Non Scale Victories

I managed to get mine into a 22 from Evans a couple of months ago and was over the moon, then a few weeks later a 22 from Asda, £10!!! It's a great feeling when you can pick up stuff in the supermarket and I cant wait to move down to a 20!!
  19. Debsie_websie

When I reach target, I look forward to....

I can't wait to be called curvy as opposed to (in my head anyhow) just plain big or fat!! Curvy is only a dream right now! (but I'm sure when I get to curvy like you I will want to be known as slim!)

    feel rubbish :(

That's a good point from Donzstar. I too have told everyone I know that I'm doing sw and have told them to ask me each week how I'm doing, and also to not let me give up.... They have my authorization to bully me into going to class and keep on at me until I do! I find this is a great motivator...

    Guility using all syns?

My C does say that you should use 10 every day, because then as you approach target, if you're struggling to lose those last few pounds, you have something to cut back on. I've got over 4 stone off having 15 a day so the plan, inc syns, does work x

Every loss is weight you'll never see again! If youre exercising, make sure your fluids are upped to compensate, that really helps me. And maybe read your book again and look out for speed foods, as by the sounds of it a good loss in one week would get you going again. Good luck!!

I've found that roasting veg like peppers, onions, courgettes are quick to cook and add a bit of interest to the meal. I agree with the others, you need to push in as much super free as you can. It definitely works, and if you add in tonnes of water I think you'll find that helps too x

  83. Debsie_websie

    Cooked deli chickens

As I understand it, the problem comes from the rotisserie action where fat from the chickens cooking drops onto those below it constantly, so they're not cooked without fat. My consultant told us it's something like 8 syns per 28gms, if I recall correctly. Shame isn't it!!
