good luck for tomorrow everyone, I'm hoping for a loss too as it's Cornwall this weekend, and a cream tea with my name on it (which, of course, I shall flexi-syn!) x
Hi all, can I join please? (stands nervously in corner of playground clutching peanut hi-fi bar!)
Last night's weigh in with a loss of 4.5 means I'm now in the 11s - hurrah! Very pleased to be here. Not sure I can physically get to the 10s but would be ECSTATIC if that happened, so plan on...
Hi Kim_bee
I was pretty ill recently, and on the old antibiotics which made me feel a bit sicky. Just couldn't get much superfree down me, except raspberries and melon (melon's really good for a dicky tummy!) with some Total 0% yogurt. I drank a lot of tea as I find it comforting when I'm in...
good luck for tomorrow everyone. Think I've been pretty much on plan so will hopefully show. Managed to squeeze into target dress this week. Couldn't breathe mind, but getting there slowly... x
Hi
I started SW recently then fell ill so couldn't exercise. I still lost though, not as much as I would have done with my usual running, however, so yes the plan works without exercise. x
aaahhh, lumpy bumpy cake... YUM! There are just some things that shouldn't be resisted! To be fair, the recent goings on have conspired against everyone trying to lose weight I imagine! Easier times ahead - life sometimes gets in the way! Good luck for getting back on plan x
agree that eggs are a good idea - I always feel quite satisfied until lunchtime if I eat eggs (I also start work early). I put a yogurt on porridge oats and add frozen berries the night before and leave in the fridge. By the time you are in work, the oats have soaked up the yogurt so it's not...
I'm feeling your pain - literally! I know how horrid gallstones are, so keep trying as a lower fat diet will help with the symptoms. Good luck and let us know how you get on. x
I'm weighing in a bit later and I'm nervous - I've stuck to it all week so not sure why. My partner told me to text him the result and I thought 'how sweet'. Then he said he'd asked because he wanted to know whether to come home or not!
Hi Joolzbee
Swimming/aqua aerobics and stationary cycling are good cardio exercises which are safe after hip replacement. Upper body work using a resistance band would be good too - it would really get your heart and lungs working, burn a fair few calories and tone you up nicely. Group is a...
When I was married, my husband told me I had lost too much weight. I don't think he liked the fact that men started noticing me and I was much more confident.
When I was getting divorced, (that diet is not recommended but sometimes inevitable!), my sister tried to cajole me into eating more...
yes - me too. Alcohol has a lot to do with it for me! It's astounding how much I can put away whilst having a glass of wine. The only way I can deal with it is not to have too much to drink and plan the wine syns, then go on to cups of tea when I've had my allocation. I feel like I need a...
Hi everyone
I'm well in the 12s by 10lbs, so may be sticking around here for some time! Lost a stone myself by healthy eating and flogging myself in the gym, but now in the 12s and have started Slimming World (green) as I was running out of ideas for food. I'll be happy with a nice moderate...
