Focused on the Goal
I do not want to be a serial dieter for the rest of my life. I have attempted to do vlcds before, 2 weeks being the longest I have lasted. What makes this time different you may ask? Well, the fact that I am 37, 5'8 and weigh 18 stone 10 and a quarter pounds. That is the heaviest I have ever been!
I am tired. Tired of saying I will start tomorrow. Tired of promising myself and my family that I will stick to a diet. Tired of looking at/ buying clothes in smaller sizes and hoping one day I will fit in them. Tired of starting a diet and then acting like I will die if I do not have a piece of chocolate or crisp or anything that Im not suppose to have. I tired of complaining about my weight. Tired of hiding in clothes I can not stand. Tired of making excuses why I wont go out because I feel uncomfortable in my own skin. I am just plain tired of carrying this extra weight.
So, I am giving slim and save all I have got for the next 22 weeks. I have booked a holiday with my best friend (first girlie holiday) and hope to lose 6-7 stone- is this possible???I do not want to be fat any more. I want my life back!
I am going to post on this thread daily to track my progress. I shall weigh monthly. Previous experience has shown me that I get disheartened by small loses.
Today is day 1. I am taking it hour by hour, then day by day. I want this more than anyone knows, so I am committing to 4 shakes per day no extra anything. Apart from green tea and 3-4 litres of water.
I would love to hear some success stories from big loses.
