♥~ Tanya's Maintainence Diary - Year 3 - Diary of a runner! ~♥

Come on baby!! Where are you!!! ;) xx

Still nothing. She won't be being taken down for the drip tonight. They are getting v.impatient at it all now :( suppose we should be grateful that they are both healthy but wish they'd hurry up!!

Frustrating all the waiting!! x

Still no word on the baby then???

No, not yet ladies!
She discharged herself from hospital this morning as was getting frustrated at kept being placed further down the list. She has now lost her mucas plug (sorry if thats TMI) so baby is ready, or her body atleast. She has an app with her midwife tomorrow to sort out another induce date which should be within the next couple of days and she will be priority, if it doesnt start naturally now.

Have done meal plans for the rest of this week. Here they are. Wednesday I have the night off work as Thursday my brother passes out as a fully qualified Marine PTI!!!! Very proud. So it might be that wednesday I may not have the pitta all depending on when I go to bed etc. Thursday I will try to stick to the plan but as were in Lympstone all day it might be a little difficult so i've factored in a banana and brunch bar to take with me incase food is laid on so I wont touch it.

Gee, baby sure is in no hurry to meet everyone!! I'm sure you'll all be v happy when the birth finally happens!! Well done to bro on his success.
All looking good for you.

She had her midwife app today and baby is now fully engaged so if no natural birth between now and monday then she'll be in monday 8:30 to be induced. So excited!! I personally think its going to happen before monday though!

Today was long run day but I had to get up early so knew i'd struggle. I had 4.5hours sleep, it was hot, I wore two tops and I struggled. It was meant to be an 11miler but ended up with only a 10. I knew from mile 4 there was no way I was going to do 11 today. It was a slow time. I have ran 1x 11miler and 4x10milers and todays 10miler was the slowest. I know theres factors behind it today but it was a little disheartening.

I know I said I wasnt going to drink after saturday untill the Plymouth half but a large glass of red in bed tonight is looking likely. If I do i'll class it as a night cap as I have to be up early doors for tomorrows pass out ;)

The pass out was amazing. The PTI display was just phenomenal. Their strength & physical ability is just insane. I guess it has to be though. I am unbelievably proud of him :) He (and all of the other guys that passed out today) are all now fully qualified Physical training instructors - which, I didn't realise is also valid in civi street! Basically, he's a personal trainer! Free phys info for life coming my way! hahaa :giggle:

Here's a couple of pics I took from my phone. I couldn't get many from the display as it was all spotlighted and the iPhone is pretty rubbish in poor lighting. Lee is the littlest one. You can't miss him in the photos lol and the one where they're upside down on a 30ft rope he's in the middle.

Tanya, the photos are lovely. I've said before that you are a handsome family!! And, your hard work is paying off because I can see a very neat waist on you!!!! You look great!!!

Photos are fantasic Tanya! You must all be so proud of him and rightly so!

Looking good!!!

Ar fanks ladies! :) I wasnt too keen on what I wore yesterday, my arms just made me look huge :( nevermind. Edited yesterdays menu as forgot to add in the krisprolls I had and then I had a slither of cheesecake later on in the evening.

Up early again today had my final HepB jab. Not going to go pump just because i'm being lazy and i've already ran and showered and it doesnt start for another 2.5hours. And also the jab guy said 'don't do anything unnesecarily' ... i'll take that excuse ;) :giggle: Hating it this week, calories have been higher but my days have been all over the place. Some shorter and some alot longer than usual. Today is another long day which will inevitably mean more food. I had breakfast at 11, did my run and now I need something as belly is rumbling so menu change today :sigh: Next weeks weigh in is going to be rubbish.

Todays run was lush. I loved it. Felt strong and comfortable. Why can't that happen on my long runs?
Do I need cheesecake every tuesday before my long runs?!! :p:rolleyes:
