140lbs+ to lose - walking it off!

Had a great day with my daughter. Spent a long time helping her with some coursework and then went out for a walk. It was really lovely being able to do the mum role. Feel really tired this evening, TOTM is taking its toll a bit, (sorry for TMI). Weigh-in in the morning to see what my feb total is, that will be interesting! Anyway, hope all ok! B - Scramble egg and wholemeal toast. L - Quorn salad sandwich, Apple and cashews D - Low fat fish pie, sweetcorn, peas and carrots.

Hi hun. Lost 1.5lbs this week which I was expecting due to TOTM. It was fluctuating between 1.5-2lbs so I've taken the lowest number because it makes me feel virtuous lol

NSVs for this week:

I feel much smaller when I am in the bath, it's much more comfortable now that my rolls fit in easier!
Haven't eaten anything that was off plan or off track and when I've needed a bit extra ive made healthy choices and worked them into my day.

Things to work on:
Drinking! Still only getting through 1.5l per day
Aim to reach at least 8k steps per day
Keep on with the jogging
Could be a lot of challenges in March due to several celebrations so it'll be interesting to see if/how that affects me. Learn from them.

Bring on March!

It's the end of a really nice weekend. Had a nice time with my daughter and spent a lot of time getting to know my cousin who I haven't spoken to in about 15years. I would have avoided that in the past so I feel like my mental health is recovering a little bit, even though this week it's been a struggle to leave the house again. I can't wait to work again in the future. I think I'd like to do something that isn't related to social care though, possibly retail or something similar, finding work could be interesting though!

My brother jokingly said that I could move to Australia to become a live in nanny for his son once his wife returns to work. Started having fantasies about the possibilities lol

The intimate family meal for the kids birthday next weekend has turned into inviting a lot of their friends too. Got to admit that I feel nervous about it. It's going to take quite a lot to not over-think about that during the course of this week. It's exactly the kind of situation I've avoided for years. Going to need a rocket up my arse to get myself there.

I can't imagine what a struggle it must be if you feel social anxiety when you have a little one to take care of and socialise. Sometimes I wonder where we'd be without our kids pushing us forwards to be better x

Thanks Hun, I definitely feel like I'm edging in the right direction, I must admit that I do worry about slipping backwards again but Ive got to try to focus on the moment rather than stressing over stuff that hasn't happened. I should get that written on my hand so I don't forget!
