1st weigh in, disappointed but....

had my 1st weigh in today after 10 days on SS, my CDC scales only showed a loss of 5.5 but when I got home I weighed myself and according to mine I have lost 11lbs?!?!?!

Either way I am happy as I feel sooo much better knowing I am loosing weight. I've had no major side effects so know its just a battle of willpower.

All in all feeling good and positive regardless of the scales :D

roll on next wk!

Stay positive! You are doing just fine. Perhaps your weigh-in was at a different time, or you had consumed a ton of water, or your hormones/fluid balance were uneven that day. It could be anything at all but most likely fluid.

5.5 pounds is almost half a stone. That's a fair old chunk of weight. And if you stick with it then next week you should see another very good loss. Try to be weighed at the same time of day, in the same weight of clothing. That tends to give a more reliable reading.

You are doing just fine. Good luck x

I only lost 5.5lbs in the first week. i had a couple of decentish weeks after that, and then it all got slow again.

hopefully you'll catch up, but if not, i think sometimes we just have to accept that some people's bodies lose weight slower than others'. I clearly lose weight more slowly than most. what am i going to do? wail and gnash my teeth? break my diet and comfort eat??

It's not fair, but as my dad used to say to us when we were kids "whoever said anything about fair? Life isn't fair."

It sucks, but them's the breaks and infinitely worse things happen at sea than being the person that takes an extra couple of weeks to get to goal.

But i do hope i'm wrong and you have smashing, speedy losses from here on in. ;)
