2nd day and feel good...

Feeling good. Not as hard as I thought it would be in my first few days, but maybe that's because i am not fully ss'ing. I am in 'preparation' for ss having 2 shakes/soups a day and a protein rich food and veg from the 810+ menu.

I never feel hungry but my stomach rumbles occasionally.

But the weekend is soon approaching and with the other half eating like a horse, i am sure this is where i will struggle most

Still, i won't be defeated.

Really want to be in Ketosis but don't think that will come until next week after weigh in 1 when i hopefully begin ss.

Good to hear that you are making it through the sometimes difficult early days, just keep going and it will all be worth it x

Hi Becca,

I had my first WI last night and its definitely worth fighting through the hard days.

I have been 100% and intend to carry on that way.

My OH also eats like a horse, had alarge pizza and a side order of chicken dippers and wedges and ate the whole lot while i was sat there. He does offer to eat in the other room.

I actually enjoy smelling that food now and not hungry for it.

Hopefully it wont be long before you get there :)

well done you, im on day 3 im doing ss+ to i have a 200 cal meal which is why i think im finding it ok mind you im finding having 3 shakes in addition to this hard im quite happy having 2 and the 200 cal meal but i guess the 3rd one is important cause of the nutrients

Hi Hayley - you've done a good job on your first week, how good do you feel? The OH wouldn't have been eating a domino's would he ?? All too familiar...;) and no more!! How much weight you want to lose?

Hi Donna - see, i'm not sure how important the third shake is - i haven't been having it because i'm just not that hungry but maybe i might alternate and have a CD replacement tonight instead of a meal and have a meal tomorrow evening. Is there a reason you are doing ss+ or just because you want to??

I'm also in the same boat as you contemplating SS next week but I don't want to get hungry and cheat if I can stick to 810 and have something after work. My OH is always eating scrummy stuff in front of me which I know is going to be my downfall, I know that I need to stay strong and that if I give in and cheat with a takeaway this weekend that the guilt I will feel will completely cancel any enjoyment of the food.

Anyway here's to getting through the weekend!! xxx

iv got a stone to lose and wanted quick weight loss without having to give up food altogether im supposed to have 3 shakes and a 200 cal meal ie chicken breast with veg i have my 2 shakes in the day a chicken breast or some fish with veg then i dont feel like another shake not sure if its ok to skip it or not though

Heya,

I must admit I don't feel like a third shake in the evening. going to buy some mix a mousse to maybe use with a shake as a dessert after dinner, or freezing a tetra as a dessert xxx

Hi Becca,

Yes it would be a Domino's he was eating! I never ordered pizza before i met him, then i got used to eat half a pizza, hence the pile on of weight :(
I dont entirely blame him cos obviously he doesnt force me to eat that kind fo food i just liked it and ate it but would kind of find myself in competition with him some nights lol.

After my first WI i felt great, now im home from work and on my own..... its hard, i know there is nice food in the cupboards and im distracting myself from it all on here. Then i know i have to smell and see what my OH is eating for dinner, thats when i have a soup or shake :)

How have you got on today?

Hi Hayley,

Your OH sounds just like mine, but I still live with my parents so I only have to manage the weekend!!!

I have done well today thanks, went to the pub at lunchtime with everyone at work and resisted temptation (i usually go for a diet coke and some food lol) and just had a sparkling water :D

How has your day been?

Becca, Your lucky, i live with mine and will be moving into out first house in 2 weeks so no escaping his food habits lol.

Altho saying that he does feel guilty about eating in front of me, bless him.

Well done for resisting temptation at the pub :0clapper:

Soooo looking forward to a hot cup of soup or shake, whichever i decide to have :)

Hi Hayley,

I have had strawberry shake which was nice, chocolate tetra which is ok (better cold), chicken and mushroom soup and the leek and potato soup which were both average (couldn't eat them all cos they are quite heavy-might have to add more water if theyre all like this!!) and banana milkshake which was average!! lol

What about you?

Got any recommendations??

p.s. good luck moving home :) how exciting!

I really havent got on with the fruit shakes at all....

I love the soups, all of them bar Broccoli and cheese, which they're discontinuing anyway.

I really like hot choc shakes even the mint and orange.

Trying a few more cappucino's but they're a bit weak for my liking so been putting a tea soon of coffee in it.

With the soups i make them to the sachets directions and then water them down more if i want to :)
Also add a bit of pepper of seasoning of some kind to make them a bit more interesting and different.

How you doing today?

Well I have just had tomato soup for dinner and it was disgusting!! Tasted like puke haha
I still have Mushroom and Vegetable to try of the soups...hmmm not been impressed so far. Although might take your advice and add some seasoning next time!!

At lunchtime I had the fruits of the forest shake...i blended it with water and ice...omg it was beautiful. Will definitely be doing that more often!!

I didnt try any of the fruit ones at all, not a big fan.
I used to drink cup a soups all the time so figured the soups would be a good one and they have been so far.

Oriental chilli is one of my faves!

I have been lazy most of the day, went to work with my boyfriend this morning and i studied like a good girl. Came home and been on here, dowloaded some music, sorted my i-pod out and also been playing crash bandicoot on PS3 woohoo lol.

How about you?

You shouldn't be missing your third shake as it's full of all the vits and minerals you need day to day

I have 3 cd 'meals' plus food ( ss+) as need food !!

Please have your third shakes x

Not a lot really, just popped into town this morning. supposed to be doing some work tonight but just been sitting on here and now watching x factor. OH has gone home now so he can't tempt me anymore!! He had a pepperoni pizza for lunch. It smelt good but wasn't fussed. think my determination is taking control!! which is good.

Thanks for the advice mrsessex - yday and today had my third shake but no food. probably should but just not hungry enough for it.

Some days I've had to force the 3rd down I mean literally force as no appetite obviously but you'll hold onto your weight even more if your taking in even fewer calories it's just not worth it. Remember cd has been devised just the right way to ensure we lose enough on the calories we take in....

You'll be able to have the bars soon they are easier to eat LOL
