30 bananas a day.

The cult leaders are Durianrider & Freelee. They have some pretty amazing before and after photos and claim to eat up to 70 bananas a day each.

Ive always taught that fruit makes you fat. Im eating more fruit than ever before and am starting to drop weight. My skin is clearing up too.

What have other peoples thoughts been?

I dont like their forum cos they are too elitist but enjoy watching their youtube videos. i think Freelee needs to wear more clothing though! Its bordering soft porn! lol!

The videos do look amazing! I'm doing ww and fruit has 0 points so I'm eating more than ever too. Weight is really starting to drop off so I think there can't b any harm in eating lots of fruit x

My feeling instinctively is a 30 banana a day diet would not be good.

Fruit is undoubtedly good for you and should be part of any diet.

However- it is quite high in sugar, and id view sugar as a bigger enemy in terms of weight loss than fat... as everyone knows it causes chaos with insulin levels etc.. so id think excessive fruit would not be great?

Having said that, ill take a look at the video after work.

i'd be really worried about your blood sugar levels.

also - what else do you eat? where are you getting your protein from?

Too much Potassium!!

"You probably know too much water and too many apple or cherry seeds can kill you, but did you know eating too many bananas may lead to an early demise? It's not their high radiation signature. It's because bananas contain potassium. But wait, you may be saying, isn't potassium good for me? It is, but like everything else, too much potassium is bad for you. Too much potassium can lead to heart damage and cardiac arrest."

True- a completely useless fact is that when they give a lethal injection (death penalty) it is pottasium they use to actually stop the heart.

Our bodies have a delicate balance of pottasium and salt basically- too much salt is bad (as it causes retention of water and thus puts more pressure on vessels etc) but too much pottasium, although far less common is also bad.

It might help shift the pounds but it doesn't sound at all healthy. Whatever happened to a reasonably balanced diet??!
