I am on Slimming World to try and eat healthier as I want a baby in a couple of years and feel I need to break the bad eating habits now in order to give them the best chance.

I have been keeping my food diary in a book but I would like to pop it on here too...useful to get feedback.

So far:

Monday 20th October - hadn't been food shopping at this point

B:Grapes and Dry Cornflakes - Hex B

L: Tuna and Egg Pasta Salad with Salad Cream - 5 Syns

D: Potato skins with bacon and cheese - Hex A with salad cream 5 syns

Tea 0.5 syns

Total Syns 10.5


Tuesday 21st October - still not been shopping

B: Fruit Salad

L: Noodle soup with grapes

SHOPPING TRIP

Once home: Brown bread slice with a light cheese triangle - Hex B 1.5 syns

D: Spag Bol with Cheese Hex A - 2.5 Syns

Coffee - 1.5 syns

Total Syns - 5.5 Syns


B: Overnight oats made with natural yogurt and blueberries - Hex B

L: Spag Bol with Cheese - Hex A 1.5 Syns

D: Cottage pie with gravy - 5 syns

LATTE from McDonalds 7 Syns

Total 13.5 Syns

B: Overnight oats with Fat Free Coconut and Vanilla Greek Style Yogurt and grapes - 1.5Syns

Tea 0.5 Syns

L: Baked Potato with Beans and 5 Light Triangle Slices - Hex A

D: Crabstick Noodle Soup and Melon

Need to add more syns methinks to today.

L: Beans on toast with 2 x cheese triangle (HEA HEB)
S: 3 x cheese triangles (HEA) on 5 cream crackers 10 Syns
Coffee (0.5 Syns)
D: Roasted Veg Couscous with salmon

11 Syns in total today! Best I have done so far. (been so little lately but I have found things that aren't crisps or chocolate or anything rubbish that fulfil my syns!)

I hate it when you plan to eat something on plan and there is nothing you can have!

I'm in London today and tomorrow so I am trying to eat free stuff whilst working away. There is a Tesco, Sainsburys and M&S on the road and I have chicken slices and cottage cheese with me and I have had fruits. x
