Hi I will be into my fourth week of WW tomorrow - WI tomorrow! been fairly on track all week so am hoping for a loss of at least 3lbs, hope I won't be disappointed! I have only lost 4.5lbs so far, a bit bummed about that. Good luck with your weight loss crusade!

Ellen - get a bag and weigh out 4.5lbs worth of books on your scales - then you'll see how much weight you've lost. You'll be surprised! Keep going don't give up. At least you're working on yourself :)

good idea about the books sobergeek. My boyfriend handed me 8 lbs of flour and sugar bags last week. Its mindblowing:eek: how heavy that is and how my body was carrying it around!!!!

Thanks guys! I do pick up pounds of butter at the supermarket and marvel at how heavy even a couple of pounds are. I lost 2.5lbs this week so I got my first silver 7, it feels great to have the first half a stone off, feels like a real achievement. Congrats to everyone else on your weight loss, let's all keep it up!

Well done Ellen. I had my third WI today and lost 5lbs in total (1lb, 1.5lbs, 2.5lbs) so I'm really hoping for 2lbs this week to make it half a stone. I have 1 stone 3lbs left to lose.

I was disappointed my first week (my lowest loss so far) but just accepted that it will take time for it to come off and hopefully will stay off :) x

This is gonna sound stupid but what IS a silver seven? Sorry, doing this from home and trying to give myself little goals to reach... Need to figure out my 5% & 10% goals etc. :)

A silver 7 is a shiny 7 shaped sticker which you receive each time you lose 7 lbs :)
If you post up your start weight and height, I'll look in my book for your 5 and 10 % and your healthy goal ranges (this is where I need your height) :D

Duh, it's all on your statistics.
Your 5% loss is 9 lbs to take you to 11 st 7 lbs, 161 lbs.
Your 10% loss 17 lbs to take you to 10 st 13 lbs, 153 lbs.

Healthy weight ranges (BMI 20-25) for 5'6" are 8 st 12 lbs (124 lbs) to 11 st 1 lbs (155 lbs)
