Bought all three and could hardly stop reading book one now that I've started. Not fantastically written, but readable. As an American I keep getting a bit distracted by the American protagonist using Britishisms (EL should have hired an American editor) and as a Seattlite I keep wondering where the rain is? And, I'm sorry. No one who grew up in home of Starbucks would not Not Drink coffee! And giving her a Mac Pro? When Bill Gates is a native of Seattle? I doubt that!

However, Seattle is a very liberal city and I am sure there is a significant SM/DM culture. So that art is authentic, I think.
