I used to have an account on here, but didnt use it much, so here I am again.

I've met someone online who I really click with, I know we've not met yet, but he really is exactly what I'm looking for. It's pretty serious already, but for some reason I feel I look good in my pictures but not so great in person (because I'm overweight). I think hes under the impression that I'm alot smaller than I am.

I weigh 13 stone 12lbs, I'm 5'2", but very busty, so I dont look as overweight if that makes sense. I was still a 32F when I wore size 8 clothes.

I've told him I wont meet him for another 9 weeks (and a few days) so I'm wondering what the experienced dieters think I could lose in that time?

I cant really afford cambridge right now, or I'd go on that for sure! I have a treadmill at home & I thought maybe I could exercise to the max every day.

I know everyones different, but do you think I could lose 4lbs a week?? I've had some really abusive relationships in the past, but I have a great feeling about him.

    Hi Ya,

Why not set yourself quite a low achievable target of say 1½ lbs a week for the 9 weeks ? It will take you into the 12st bracket. Anything over that will be a huge bonus but psychologically you're not setting yourself up for a feeling of failure if you don't manage to hit some target that is unrealistic for you.

Good Luck with your new relationship, it sounds like exciting times are ahead. :) Well done you.

    hi quickstart,
Im happy for you and hopfully he is your MR. Right!
You have not met him yet, and see how much you care for him...dont you think, its just the same with him!!!?I think, he should be crazy for you, just as you are!!!You should not have to feel that you have to change for anyone (except for yourself)!!?
I totally agree with chips with everything.
Dont worry too much and just loose as much as you CAN...and Im sure youll feel good about yourself.lol
I find doing a lot of exercise with the treadmill extremely helpful with loosing weight and just looking a bit at that kcals ( but make sure you dont go too low, coz then things probably will go wrong)

Pleased to hear another internet success story! My best mate married a guy she met noline last year, so it can work! Agree with what has been said above - set a realistic target of 1-2 lb per week so you don't get disheartened. Good luck! x
