A 3lb gain after a 8 lb loss. why?

Hi,

After celebrating my first loss of 8lb, I have gained 3 lbs when I weighed this morning :confused:(9 days in):(

I have changed nothing in my diet, my carbs are no more 20g per meal, my fat is as it should be and Im eating 800-1000kcal:sigh:

Also, I still get some oily poo/farts and today a painful growly tummy. although that could be caused by a coffee I had.

any ideas?

Did you get weighed on your 7th day and lost 8lbs? Then getting weighed again 2 days later you gain 3lbs? Weight goes up and down through the week. Get weighed once a week in the same clothes at around the same time. You'll find you havn't gained anything next week when u get weighted.

This is why you shouldn't get weighed everyday :D

What Red says...weigh yourself once a week, our weight can fluctuate by up to 2-3 lbs a day because of fluid retention.

oh that is completely true Ali

I weigh myself twice a day (although the only one that counts is the Sunday weigh in) and whatever weight I am when I go to bed, I'm usually 2lbs lighter in the morning (well after I've nipped to the loo anyway ;))
