hi everyone, i started cd yesturday and so far so good.

my first question is how much water am i ment to be drinking ive read the books the cdc gave me and from what i understand its 2 1/2 ltrs but i keep reading on forums is 4 now ive confused myself lol

2nd question is what is the best thing to get for bad breath, havent got it yet but just so im ready wanted to get something

3rd is what is the best toilet problem help tablets? not having a problem just want to be ready,

Firstly, well done on getting started, that's the hard part!

The minimum you should drink is 2.25 litres a day but if you have the tetras or bars, you need to drink more.

I think the basic rule of thumb is drink if you need to but make sure it's at least 2.25 litres a day. I tend to have between 3 and 3.5, anything more and personally, I feel ill and bloated. You'll soon find what suits you.

The water will help with the breath too but you can get sugar free breath strips from listerine too.

With regards to the toilet situation, again, water should help but you can also take the Cambridge fibre supplement or physillium capsules to make things a bit easier!

Hi and welcome to CD :) I will try and help with your questions as much as I can -

1. They recommend a MINIMUM of 2.25 litres , and an extra glass for every bar or tetra or porridge you have , maximum is about 4 litres , so like lizzielocket said find whats right for you , I aim for 3-3.5 litres most days

2. I use the listerine strips , unfortunately not many shops in the UK sell them now , so i buy off e bay , used to come from america but there is one UK seller selling them on there at the mo so I got my last lot of them , they are brill and make your mouth feel loads better

3. Toilet problems are very common and I suffer quite badly . I have been using movicol , which is a good 'softener' and really helps ( I have 2 sachets every 2-3 days ) but my CDC has told me that CD are now officially recommending physillium ( sp) husks which you add to water or a shake daily , so I have ordered some off her and see how I get on :)

thank you both for the replys, very helpfull.

ive been drinking 3 1/2 ltrs so thats about right i feel.

ive had so far 2 shakes 3 soups 1 porridge and a tetra. the suops i find revolting but still have another 3 left then i wont be buying them again. as for the porridge and shakes they are really nice.

i will order some of the strips of the internet so im ready lol

Hi

For the toilet problems prevention is always better than cure so get some fibre or psyillium husks and start using them daily to keep your bowels healthy. I'd recommend capsules rather than the powder you can get to dissolve in the shakes as it doesn't really "dissolve".
