    cambridge weight loss
    Hi everyone,
I had my first meeting with my Cambridge weightloss councellor ?! today. I was weighed and am up my the heaviest i have ever been in my life :-( I knew i had had a serious increase in weight as the way i have been feeling. This has had an impact on my self confidence. The weight in today had me at 18 3 . Due to going away next week for a planned trip ( which i had planned to be slimmer for but that plan failed ) I am not going to start my cambridge plan until I return on the 16th July. So i have from now until then to either try to maintain this horrible weight or try to lose a little bit before my first offical weight in and get my products.Unfortunatly, I am going to France, which i am looking forward to but oh the foods :-D anyways
i have organised a breakfast tomorrow of porrage and plan to buy a litre bottle of water so i can drink it at my desk. I am not sure if this will make a impact, but a few little steps before the big adventure begins. I want to be healthier. I used to be fit ( not thin) and play sports, but due to an injury i had to give up. :sigh:
I will update a ticker on my sign off when i actually start. I hope that this works to even lose a stone will help give me some confidence to go back into the gym/pool.
    new game starts tomorrow
    night night

Good luck!! If I were you, I'd probably try and go low carb before cd, although I doubt that will work in France with their delicious breads and cheeses haha x

    bonjour!
I hope you are all well. so i survived my trip to eurodisney, not too badly
came home to see my CD councellor - stil not sure what to call Margaret but she is lovely.
Unfortunatly when i was in France, i developed tonsillitis. meaning i am delayed from going on CD for another week :-/
on the positive side, i managed to lose 4lbs when i was away!?!!?!?
i think it was all the walking and not trying to be low carbs, which is possible, lots of meats available for every course.
i am having a easy weekend as i go back to work tomorrow and i still feel pretty week. aim to start on CD a week on wednesday. low carbing this week and drinking lots of water.
i am looking forward and i know this is going to be tough, but have decided that this time i am going to do it
i have an aim not of a weight but a pair of skorts that mum bought me years ago that i have never ever fitted.
    hope your all doing well

    Hiya
I hope you are all well.
Went down and met up with my CDC tonight. I have all my kit in the fridge and and in the kitchen.
I will be honest, I am a tad scared now. I start tomorrow morning. I am on four things a day for the initial stages. i am very excited to be doing this diet, but I am nervous. probably normal. but just concerned how it is going to fit in to my life. I have a really busy week this week. I have two events that I have organised and then on Sunday I have another event. I am worried i am going to look like an idiot drinking these wee cartons and I also hope that I stay awake/upright. I tend to need 48 hours in a day at the weekends.
guess I am just nervous. :wave_cry:
    night night lovelies

Most people don't even notice that the Tetras are diet shakes. They assume they are regular choc shakes! And you can pour the contents into a mug, add hot water, and enjoy a yummy hot choc x

well, I have managed nearly everything today. Just have one more shake to have later on and I am having that at my partners place. Kinda made a deal that i do not have dinner at his house so to let him eat what he wants.
I am feeling a wee bit funny today, not hungry just odd. I am drinking all the water and feel ok with that.
It was funny, i got home tonight and I had a voucher for a local place we go to. will keep it handy you never know. Have started the journey, lets see where I get to

Ok, so I have one conclusion so far, The person on the taste panel for the Strawberry tetra was having a laugh and is continuing to do so. that is bloody awful
add to that this horrendous metalic taste in my mouth. tell me this goes away. How on earth do i have this already ? OK, I was doing low carb before i went on to it, but this quick ? cant find my stiks things so not sure where my body is at. Also, i did not measure or get measured. So i am going to see how it goes clothes wise. Tomorrow, I am going to an event that I have organised. Not a huge deal, but big event, lots of drinks lots of chat and a buffet. then on Saturday, the event completes with a fun day and bbq.
So i am slightly stressed and temptation is everywhere. no sure how i am going to cope.
feeling rough, but not sleepy. but this taste :cry:

strawberry tetra? is that the ready made one? stick to the chocolate and vanilla ones i say!!!!! i love them. the vanilla shake made with warm water and a dash of cinnamon is heaven. i too didnt get measured so i bought a measuring tape just to gage myself, but you can use your clothes to estimate as well.

awh hunny chin up, its only day two, they say once you get over the first five days its easy from there, itll be worth it and your doing really well. i find having a large cup of something to drink at the night time helpful and im on day three. like tonight i was hungry so i made a huge cup of peppermint tea mixed with cinnamon and sipped it. really helped. if the strawberry tetras arent your cuppa well then just dont have them. choose the shakes u like, itll make it a lot easier.

you can do this :) xxx

    an epic slip up

    Hello fellow CDers
I hope you are all well.
    well :sigh:
As i wrote on my previous post, I had a weekend from hell
I seem to have a new side line in event management and it took over my life for a few days. I was good on Friday, Got up, had my shake and off i went to work. I have a full time job. It was gloriously sunny and hot, so I was drinking a lot of water anyways, then I had my shake again, working away drinking water.
The work day was mental, my phone which is tuned to my email was going beep tastic with questions from people about the events on Friday and Saturday.
I apologise if i am over explaining myself, but I want to tell someone what was going on with me, but I need you to understand the stress I was under. So, i left my real job about 1/4 to six, and went to the place where i was holding the event as I had to be there to let in the buffet people :cry:eek:h my god i was impressed!!!. all looked great and smelt amazing. resist foxy, resist, have another drink of sparkliing water.
The event started at 730pm and with glorious sunshine was busy and hot, drink more water foxy. :break_diet:
By this point of time i was on three shakes and ....... 7 pints of water
by about 930, I was not feeling so great
i got the usual questions about why i was not drinking and more why i was not eating.
so, I think the combination of the heat, holding enough water to float the titanic let alone sink the titanic, i felt very weak and no matter splashing water on my face still felt like i was going to pass out. So i sucummbed - well not truely, My friend is a doctor and he was like ' foxy, you need to eat something' so I tried to be a good girl and eat some protein.
It was only some cocktail sausages and some chicken out of the vol ou vons but it make me better and i managed to continue on with the night. Came home here at 1200 ish and went to bed. feeling rather hacked off at myself.
So wake up Saturday morning, feeling ok ish. Got dressed and hit tescos to get a few things that i needed for the saturday event. Another glorious sunny day. A lot of the gents on the committee i am on are sure i managed to request it as I have a bit of tanacity about me. So , one shake down, then the nervous energy kicked in. trying to organise teams, get lost people to location, drinnk water, organise photo with rather nippy girl from paper, drink more water . then go round an take lots of pictures etc etc.
then i remembered to have another shake. was warm :sigh:
back to event, going 100 miles an hour.
I got back here at 7 ish. knackred and slightly sun blushed. I then had to pack up my car and get stuff ready for another event i was going to on sunday( thankfully i have no organising of it, but, i do have responsibility for stuff )
drove over to bf's and crashed on couch, feeling very week and when i was snoozing i was dreaming of sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice. woke up thinking i had completely sabotaged myself. thankfully not.
Sunday was a lot of water drinking again. and felt rough as well rough. i gave in, i had a cheese and ham sandwich. packet of crisps and some haribo.
I feel a total failure. i have weigh in tomorrow.
great, just spoke to my mum about my weekend. did not really get a well done about it or how well everything went, just a oh, about what i ate
seriously feeling rubbish here. how great is self sabotage, will let you know how my weigh in goes. I am hopeful for even a few pounds

Hope your weigh in isn't as bad as you're expecting, given how busy you've been it might not have had any effect. And really that isn't a bad break at all, the chicken barely counts and cheese and ham isn't that bad either. So really it's just the crisps and haribo that you shouldn't have had, and that's not loads.

Plus the important thing is that you didn't go on to eat shedloads just because you slipped. So i'm thinking well done to you.

awh foxy. dont be too hard on yourself ya know you could have done so much worse hun. just keep at it. the first few weeks are the hardest, why not try starting on step 2 at 810 calories first and maybe after a week or two go onto sole source. you sound like youve a lot on so dont beat yourself up xxxx

    Hi All,

I have started SS today for the first time. I have not cheated at all and not struggled to bad today, but concerned that it is just going to get worse... does it???
I have 3 stone to lose which seems like such a big task, so I am praying that when I have my weigh in next Monday the loss I have made is enough to motivate me to continue. I am someone that is motivated by results, so if I have not reached a decent loss I will lose the motivation I have. Am I setting my sights to high to be hoping for a minimum of 5LBS in my first week?

Also how do I set up a diary? all of the ones I have seen on here are Fab and I would imagine it is a great motivator to everyone to see all the positive progress..

    Jazzy xx:D

    Hello everyone,
    I hope you are well
week was ok, but my TOM hit, and hit hard
does anyone else crave carbs durning it ?
well Friday night , was hard, to got to my bf i have to drive past three chip shops, a mcd, bk, and 3 chineses.
But not only did i drive past them, i also stopped to help a lad that had crashed his car. due to one of my other hobbies, i know how to deal with crashed cars. so after all that pushing shoving etc i was ready for chips. but i was good and went to my other halfs. he ws good, he did not eat any crap food in front of me
then on Friday, i was off work
we had a date day. we went out for breakfast and i had scrambled eggs and sausage. he has full fish and chips, ok it was brunch really.
so that was me till about 6 ish. then the failure begins, i go into my bag, one shake or no soup!!!
so i had bolognase with the kids and a little pasta, i thought sod it, it ticks all the boxes i am on TOM and no CD stuff.
on Saturday, i managed to have my last shake, then started the mammoth drive, we were moving furniture from my house to the other house. 140 miles later we were done
kids were hungry, so as a part time family ( my boyfriend is divorced with two kids we get at weekends) the kids had been good, they went to pizza hut.
i had chicken off pizza and salad,. so yes, i have totally fallen off the wagen, but i am back on it. i doubt there will be any weight loss this week. but my head not been in right place. This is my journey and if i fall off, i fall off, but the difference is, i am getting back on.
I did nearly stop this complete due to a panic on saturday morning. A big clump of hair fell out.i dont have the thickest of hair, and it is rather noticeable :-:)cry::cry:
hopefully in time, people will notice my thin waist and not my baldy head hahahha
ok, i hope it does not go that far, but we will see
hope your all drinking your water
    foxyx xx
