A tip for really nice SW chips and roasties

I tried doing this to both this week and it really is yummy...

I have a bottle of Maggi liquid seasoning which I have always used in soups as it adds a great flavour (free on all plans).

Anyway, I par boil the chips or roasties, sprinkle a little Maggi on the potatoes and give them a good shake, then pop them into the oven and cook as normal.
The Maggie makes them nice and brown and really tasty.

Maggi is not that easy to find in shops. I have seen it on the odd occasion in Tescos but I buy mine from a little health/specialty shop.

Ooo, I'm so glad this is free! I have some in my cupboard and I love putting it in with my Quorn mince because it gives it a "meaty" kind of flavour.

That sounds nice!! I've started cooking my roasties and chips in Worcester and Tabasco sauce. They're amazing
