Since you are at target, and you're still following slimming world 100% are you still losing weight?

Hi hun, I reached target in 2010 and have stayed at the same weight for around 2 years now (only ever fluctuate by a couple of pounds), so I feel that my body has adjusted to the plan, so I 100% believe that with SW you can maintain your weight-loss once you reach target. My main reason for starting this food diary is to try Red/Green days as I have only ever followed extra-easy. xx

Today's food diary:

Tuesday 4th September (EE day)
2 Weetabix(HxB), Skimmed milk(HxA)
Chopped banana

Bowl of strawberries and red grapes


Steak, SW chips(potato skin on), carrots,
pea's and Schwartz creamy pepper sauce(1.5)

Cadburys highlights hot chocolate(2)

Total = 3.5 syns

Wednesday 5th Sep (Green day)

35g Porridge Oat's(HxB) made with water,
Skimmed milk(HxA), Chopped banana,
1 tsp honey(1)

Strawberries, Red grapes

Jacket potato and baked beans.

SW rice pudding: pudding rice, skimmed
milk(HxA) 1 tsp sugar(1) 1tsp strawberry
jam(1)
Total = 3 syns

I have a HxB left to play with (but I don't think I can fit anything else in!)
 
I thought I would start colour coding my diary to brighten it up a little. I have to admit, I'm struggling a bit with green days. I never realised how much I relied on protein, so it's definitely made these green days that bit more challenging. I think I need to invest in some new cookbooks!

THURSDAY 6TH SEP

BREAKFAST
2 Weetabix (HxB), Skimmed milk(HxA)
1/2 chopped banana

LUNCH
Fruit bowl of strawberries, red grapes and pineapple
(The pineapple was so tarty, I was pulling some right sour faces lol)

DINNER
We had planned meals for every night this week, apart from tonight, so a takeaway it was!
Boiled rice and curry sauce(6 syns)

FRIDAY 7TH SEP

BREAKFAST

Well done on the green day :) I'm quite liking my new challenges after doing just green day and 15syns a day for over two years! Yeah, it didn't go to plan today, but 4 out of 5 days isn't too bad ;)

Aww thank you hun! I'm the same as you - i'm quite enjoying the challenge! I've just been having a look through your diary and your doing great! I know we beat ourselves up about it when we let our halo's slip and give in to a treat, but one bad day won't undue all our hard work :) (or at least that's what I keep telling myself;)) lol xx
 
I've not been feeling very well today, so i'm spending the afternoon relaxing on the sofa with Harley (my little yorkshire terrier), watching Breakfast At Tiffany's.

of Mccains 5% crinkle oven-chips(1)

I'm not feeling too good today myself (self inflicted food hangover!) Hope you feel better soon :) Bet cuddling the doggy on the couch helped?! :D
I try not to beat myself up about a day off plan, just make sure they don't happen as often as they used to.x
 
Aww, thanks hun. He's like my little mini-me, always following me around! A self-inflicted food hangover haha, love it! I definitely agree, as long as there not a regular occurrence, a little treat now and again shouldn't cause any harm:). xx

60g 50% reduced-fat coleslaw(3) and salad of lettuce,
cucumber, red onion, spring onion and grated carrot.

MONDAY 10TH SEP

BREAKFAST

Spaghetti Bolognese: onions, garlic,
carrot, celery, red chilli, tomato purée,
chopped tomatoes, extra-lean minced beef
and spaghetti.

Made another batch of my SW scones!

Ooh i'm obsessed with strawberries!! I can't get enough of them! I always worry if I eat a bit too much fruit, especially with them being high in sugar, but i've recently found out that strawberries, apples, oranges and grapefruits actually burn more calories whilst digesting than they offer, so there actually a negative calorie food!;)

of 50% reduced-fat coleslaw(2.5)

SW rice pudding (using milk from HxA), 1tsp nutmeg,
1tsp sugar(1) 1tsp strawberry jam(1)
