Aaron's Slim & Save Diary... Week 8

    Hi all, thought it was about time I made a new diary as my old Exante diary was getting a bit outdated... :p

    I lost over 4 stone last year on Exante, but sadly most of it has crept back on over the year... BMI was on the brink of healthy, and now it's back in obese! :mad: With it being a new year and a new start, I decided enough was enough and it was time to get everything back under control. This year, I'm going to go above and beyond my weight loss on Exante. I've already got through week 1 easily enough, hoping to do another 15-19 weeks on S&S to reach my goal. :)

    Really like S&S, doesn't feel like a TFR diet at all! Think the packs have great flavour, especially the cottage pie, curry and chili. Those are definitely my favourites. :D Going to keep this diary up to date with my weekly losses, temptations, achievements etc.

    Well fancy seeing you here ;) Just wanted to say here as well, good luck. I know you'll do it no problems though. You lost that 4 stone so easily really when you look back at your old Exante diary, you'll absolutely smash this too.

    Had my first official weigh in today and I'm just over 11lbs down :) very pleased with that! It's been a strange week, in a way it's been really easy as all I've had to do is literally eat what I'm supposed to eat and drink a load of water, but at the same time, for a few days I've been quite hungry and have felt physically weak! Feel like I'm finally in ketosis now though, 8 days in... :rolleyes: so that should help.

    Here's to a great second week and fingers crossed for a pleasant loss at the end!

    Thanks v. much. Week 2 has been a bit harder, particularly last night - willpower was stretched to the max... Went to a friends for a few hours, badly wanted to stay over and have a takeaway and a few drinks but didn't, so drove home but on the way home really wanted a kebab but didn't, and when I got home really felt like I wanted to order in... But I didn't and went to bed, worst night temptation wise so far!

    Had a sneaky weigh on the scales this morn and they are showing a 5lb loss so far, so that's pretty awesome. Anything around that number on Weds and I'll be very pleased! :)

    Had my 2nd week weigh in today, 4.6lbs loss :) awesome!

    Been a difficult week temptation wise, but soldiered on and I'm really pleased with that loss :) hoping week 3 will be a bit easier now I'm getting into the swing of things again, but at this rate I'll be at goal sooner than I thought!

    Weigh in today, had a 1lb loss, not bad with all things considered :) watched far too much Biggest Loser to think a 1lb loss is a bad thing, my bet is on a big loss next week :)

    Start of week 4 and feeling more inspired and motivated than I have so far, can't wait til people actually start noticing! lol

    Cool Laurie, how are you finding it? Congrats with your first week weightloss, you and your hubby did brill!!! :D

    Had my week 4 weigh in today and lost 3lbs, pleased with that number :) was hoping for more though I must admit, but I've been experimenting a bit with protein meals... I say experimenting because just turning the oven on is experimenting for me lol, I've been having roast chicken with garlic, seasoning and nando's marinade with roast veggies (pepper, leek and courgette) and also been chopping swede up into little slices and roasting those to make them like chips. Very nice!!!

    Week 5 weigh in today, -2.2lbs :) now officially no longer obese!!! Happy days. Still a long way to go though! Still feel it! lol. Going to cut out protein meals and stick with packs to see if I can bump my losses a bit as they are a wee bit low :p

    Nothing else really to add, enjoying the weight falling off and already looking forward to next weigh in :)

    Haven't updated for quite a bit now :) have lost 4.6lbs over the past couple of weeks, I know I said in a previous post I was going to cut protein meals out but decided not to, it is those that are making this diet so easy to stick to so I'm keeping them :D

    The past two Saturdays I have been quite off plan, don't want any watery mouths so won't go into detail! Pushing for a 100% few weeks now up until Caroline and I go on a little break to celebrate our 1 year anniversary :D woop

    During the week it's stupidly easy to stick to the diet as I work all day then when I get home I have some lush chicken to eat, but weekends are a wee bit tougher in that it's really nice to go out and have a meal somewhere lol but working on that ;)

    But yeah... Weight is coming off nice and steady, 27lbs off in total since 2nd Jan and I'm really pleased with that :)
