abbie's slimfast diary!

oo Elaine i feel for you! i've broken two toes in the past and its a right pain :( hope it mends soon!
Been a bit of a fatty over the past few days and have put on 3lbs (its xmas so prepared for it ;)) im back on slim fast today for the next 4 day im going to be a saint and hopefully get rid of those pesky 3lbs but new years is another herdle as i'll be drinking my own body weight in alcohol and eating like theres a famine so it will be back on the slim fast for good on the 2nd! So the plan is slim fast it the next 4 days, break for a few days then back on it on the 2nd with no breaks after that :D
 
yesterday went well, only had one slim fast but was good for calories, was so tired that i went to bed early anyway.
Today i'm feeling pretty good and quite excited about my diet how strange! Drinking my readymade chocolate slim fast think i'm addicted to these could drink them forever! I did have an ultra slim readymade shake yesterday and although it did fill me up better than the slim fast ones its not as tasty, just tastes quite chalky and chemically yuck. I didn't go running this morning as i planned but will do a dvd later instead, when i start running i always end up with tendonitis so i don't want to risk it, i must run weird or something. I'm going out for lunch at cafe nero to meet with friends so i'll take my shake to stop me craving tuna melt paninis! I looked online for the calories in a regular latte they are only 69! skinny latte is 51 yay!
 
Had a good day today, i'm actually learning to listen to my body and recognice when i'm full so that i don't overeat or eat until i feel sick which is what i usually do. I'm also appreciating my food a lot more, hope i can keep it up, i didn't do any exercise yesterday other than go for a walk so i need to work on that tomorrow, roll on day 3 :)
 
struggling a bit today tbh it's hard dieting when your at home most of the time or socialising which usually revolves around eating or drinking :sigh: Oh well i've got to stick to it and when i'm back being busy i won't have this problem, only a few more days to go until my break!
 
just weighed in and i have lost a whopping 3lbs! :D thats huge for me and in such a small space of time too. I'm not slim fasting it the next 2/3 days but i will be healthy eating, although im having a meal out tonight and drinking lots the next day or two but my main goal over these few weeks was to get back to my pre xmas weight which i have already done. I will also be back on the slim fast for good after new year.
 
okay well i was a bit naughty last weekend as it was the last of the holidays and put on about 2 poundss wooooops :eek: I've been good since monday and so i've lost a pound already :D Plus my treadmill came today wooooo! love it but man i'm unfit! i've got asthma too so that doesn't help. i'll try my best to be good this week, gonna weigh myself again on saturday morning i desperately want to lose the 2.4lbs i put on over xmas.
 
It's the end of week one today, gonna weight myself tomorrow morning and see how much i've lost in total this week, lost 1.6lbs so far so i'm hoping to make it 2lbs wish me luck :) also burnt 200 on the treadmill :)

weighed in this morning, after 1 week i've lost 2.2lbs really happy with that :) gonna aim fro the same next week! trying to stick to around 1300 calories and see how much i lose.

just read your diary! makes for very good reading! i am on my 9th day of Slim Fast and struggling with the hunger a little bit but hey ho am trying to drink lots of water to keep me going and trying to spread out my snacks!! :)

thanks emma :) hope its not too boring to read ;) i struggle a lot on the water front find it really hard to drink a lot but ill try for more the rest of this week.

Food wise yesterday was not good, a friend came round and i practically emptied the cupboards but no more of that! Also i was bad last week and had a chinese but still managed to lose half a pound, really chuffed! hoping for at least a pound loss on monday as i've been hitting the treadmill nearly everyday. I've also upped my cals from 1200 to 1300 as feeling too deprived hence eating all the crap hoping to stick to it!
 
havent been posting for a while, not been a complete angel but this week i have mangaed to lose 0.8lbs not exactly great! So i've decided to write up my weekly weight in my diary to stop me form yo yoing ound by pound. I'm not doing slim fast at the moment as i've not got any shakes and havent got much cash to buy any :( boo! so i'm just going to eat healthily and exercise, i'm still going to be posting here hoe thats ok!

I've been speaking to a friend who has lost a good stone or so recently and she tried the dukan diet, not properly but she did the attack phase for a while and then continued to eat normally and lost 5lbs in 10 days. I've been reading up on it and i definately couldnt make the commitment to do the dukan diet properly its just not compatible with my lifestyle really, plus i LOVEEEEE carbs! I've done the test thing on the website and it says that i should do the attack phase for 4 days (eating nothing but lean meat/fish/eggs and non fat dairy with a bit of oat bran) and i can lose up to 5lbs then sort of do the cruise phase for a day or two before reintoducing a few carbs, hopefully will start this on sat 11th as i have a week of uni which will be the only way i can do it (it can aslo make you quite constipated after 4 days with the lack of fibre! haha lovely!) Then i will reintroduce carbs and try to stick to around 100g of carbs or less per day which should help with weight loss. I seriously need to up my water content as i drink NONE, i dont really get thirsty its strange plus i hate going for a wee every five minutes but i will work on this.

Weigh in today: 9 st 11lbs (lost 1lb)
Goal for sat 11th: 9 st 9.5lbs (goal loss of 1.5lbs)

I've given myself the goal of losing 1.5lbs in five days, i never seem to get past the barrier of 9 st 10lbs so it will be an achievement to get there!
 
Well yesterday was going so well....until i went to the pub thought i would stick to vodka and diet coke but had a good 4 koppabergs instead and then a chinese when i got in, really disappointed as it didnt even taste that nice i didnt enjoy it at all, waste of money really :( oh well! today i've done well, hoping to lose a pound this week if yesterday hasnt done too much damage. I've started putting what i eat into MFP too to help me a bit which i like :) Lots of walking tomorrow, according to MFP i burn 446 calories just in the walking i do 4 days a week! I must be eating a hell of a lot to not be losing weight.

ooo chinese sounds lush! i had one on Fri hehe :)! opps! but if you balance it out over the next couple of days you'll be fine. whats MFP (sorry if im being thick lol!!) i might get a pedometer! to see how many steps im taking and also like to wear at the gym etc hmmmm.... might spur me on to walk further!!
