Recently i have been putting Encona chilli sauce in the soups to give it some flavour but 1 of the ingredients is acetic acid which i not sure we are allowed while following the exante TS. Please help because i don't think i could bear the soups without the kick.

Id like to know this too. I've been drenching meals in tobasco but they're such tiny expensive bottles compared to encona!

Tabasco is allowed as per the Exante list of foods, see below. I much prefer Encona Hot Pepper sauce myself and I have a good squirt, probably about half a teaspoon in my soups. They make them much more palatable for me especially as I make the soups up with about 600-800ml boiling water to fill me up and add to my water intake. There isn't much flavour otherwise.

By the way, there is a warning about the new version of Coca Cola Zero on one of the pages here. It's better to have Dr Pepper Zero or some supermarket own brands.

Thanks Julie! I was thinking about making the soups up with more water... do you add a thickener? I was wondering if xanthan gum is alright to use?

I don't add any thickener to the soups. They are pretty watery the way I make them up. I'm not sure about xanthan gum. I know some people use psyllium see husks in their shakes and add more water. I haven't used them myself but it sounds as if they do thicken foods. I'm not sure what they taste like. http://www.onegreenplanet.org/vegan-food/awesome-vegan-ingredients-to-thicken-your-recipes/

Econa sauces are on special offer in Tesco at the moment. I have the original hot pepper sauce it all my soups and it hasn't seemed to affect ketosis for me. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/prod...a+hot+pepper+sauce&newSort=true&search=Search
