Activity points - do you count?

I always enter my dog walking for the week into the tracker and every 10 minutes i do equates to 1 activity points and it doesnt matter how fast you walk, slowly, briskly is always 1pt, however, my tracker is set that i use the activity points before the weeklies?

You can get one of their pedometers which will work it out for you automatically. You have to do a certain minimum of activity a day before you start earning points. It depends on your weight but in my case it is 6000 odd steps. It then takes me just over 2000 steps or 13 minutes of moderate activity (ie aerobics) to earn a point. Wearing it all day gives me an incentive to get at least one point a day.

If its part of your job/daily activity you shouldn't really be counting it as your body is used to it already, and your metabolism will be accustomed to it. Its really supposed to be anything over the normal daily stuff.

I never count my activity points at all because it feels like i've wasted my time just to eat away my exercise efforts! xx

I'm the same! I rarely eat EPs, as I can't do much exercise anyway due to my back pain, so what I can do, I'm not going to 'waste'. I guess it's different for proper exercise, because you don't want to be burning too many calories and not giving your body enough to run on :)
