Activity points

Hey all,i have been walking home from work recently and its roughly a 4 mile walk.it takes me just under an hour to do it.

I am 147.5lbs and i wouldnt say it was high intensity, probably moderate. any clues how to work out AP's from this??

Any help would be great thanks x
 
At moderate intensity for 60mins it would be 4 or at high it would be 10 according to my calculator :) I'm not sure how they are calculated but I hope that helps :)

I don't use my activity points but would be intrested to know what I'm earning if you could tell me....

I weigh 18 stone and am 5ft 6 and 40.

I either do 40 minutes cardio in the gym - high intensity am sweating

45 Minute kettlecise class (kettlebells) - medium intensity i would say

60 minutes body pump - medium

60 minutes spinning - high

Activity points are deceiving..... What it says on the tracker doesn't equate to what my WW pedometer says!!!!

I work out 3 x per week for 50-60 mins and in sweating big style! I also play netball every week in which I'm sweating!!! I never eat my activity points and don't have a flipping clue what my exercise equates to in PP's!!!!

However in just happy to know that I'm regularly exercising and enjoying it, plus ive noticed a real difference in how toned I now am :) Xxxx
 
I go to the gym as often as possible but Ive never been able to figure out the AP. Instead I just ignore trying to figure it out and dont count the milk I put in my tea.
I only use fat free milk and Im always sweating like crazy after the gym, so Im sure it must work out and I'm not going over.
 
That's why I don't use them. Think I looked in the WW book and it said for intense activity in an hour i earned about 20PP. No way....

This is why I never use them but like yousaid if I have a bit extra milk in a coffee I'm covered, but try and track 100% and keep weeklies till after weigh in on a saturday. Working up to now x

This is what I got from my calculator :) If you have said high I have given you the moderate as well because there is quite a big jump between the 2 :)

Gym - Moderate(5) High(12)
Kettlecise - Moderate(5)
Body pump - Moderate(7)
Spinning - Moderate(7) High(18)

on my pedometer i have to walk over 6000 steps before i even start earning activity points.
6.5 miles for me is roughly 4 points.
 
I don't want to use them im just curious :) ta for the info xx
