advice needed please

Hi everyone,
I just wondered if anyone could very kindly help me!
Im doing the EE plan from home so i dont have the latest books, i just have the seperate little book that came out when EE first came about. (i presume the main book has been updated since then).
I have been really good and stuck to the plan really well but im in need of a little reassurance if possible....?
during the day can i only snack on superfree foods or can it be any free food?
I dont eat alot of veg with my main meals but i do eat ALOT of fruit after my meals and throughout the day... is that ok?
I had a sneaky weigh in this morning... which i know i shouldnt do... and since saturday ive only lost 2-3lbs. im very very disappointed! i must say that i am however having a little toilet trouble (sorry i know thats too much info), could this be causing me to weigh more?

any replies to this will be greatly appreciated, im not feeling very positive today at all and scared im going to give up! :(

Please dont worry and dont give up .... 2 - 3lbs is a good loss ... if u lost just 1 lb a week, within 1 year u would have lost 3 and a half stone .... keep going and try not to peek at your scales because your weight can fluctuate every day ..... Good luck xxxx

I don't know why you're so disappointed in this loss? SW always advertises itself as a way of life not a quick fix, keep on going and think long term, you're doing great! xx
I know it will take a long time as i need to lose just over 6 stone but going off the last time i did slimming world (4 years ago) i lost 2.5stone in 3 months and i really want to aim for that again.
You can snack on any free food during the day. There is a vague recommendation to try to have superfree snacks but it's not a requirement and if you look at the daily plans in the magazines then they often put chicken or yogurt or ham as snacks.
If you are doing EE then a third of your plate could be left empty if you aren't going to eat veg because the idea of the third superfree is to stop you piling on too much free food. Fruit after is fine as long as you haven't over eaten free food.

A 4lb loss for the first week would be good.
i dont eat big meals as i get full easily and hate that full up feeling which is why i tend to have smaller meals and then eat fruit. my plate is never full so i dont think i am at risk of eating too much free foods and not enough super free. if i lost 4-5lbs i would be happy. thanks for your reply x
