Fab & Fit For Florida
I just wanted to run something past you lot as I feel this is no longer a coincidence as it has happened on a number of occasions...

When I have time off the diet and eat (passed 3 weekends, back 100% on monday) I end up with abdominal pain, eggy burps and nasty bottom burps...

What is going on and how can I alleviate this?

Maybe its just something as simple as you are confusing your digestive system. During the week it moved fairly slowly with not much input, to having all types of food at the weekend and it is struggling to cope.
This is maybe a sign your body doesn't like this plan and would prefer a healthy diet for 7 days rather than your plan now?
You could try some actimel or similar if you ar keen to stick with this plan, only my opinion, but think you ought to take this as a sign and do cambridge or not.
Good luck whatever you decide.

We-ell...

I guess the first thing to ask is, what are you eating?

Is it the same thing each time? Could it be a food intolerance showing up because most of the time you're not eating that food-stuff? Prime candidate is likely to be bread, but it could easily be something else.

Thanks chick, u have sort of reiterated what I was thinking, everything with the plan should be back to normal come Monday, don't have any events coming up in the non too distant future... Just wanna lose the last bit and then will move on to the hard part that is maintenance :)

I think it is eating in general Lily cos I get full really quick, I am just wondering if when I eat my body is producing too much acid causing reflux as on the diet it doesn't really have to produce any...?

See how you get on when you are back on plan 7 days a week. But if it continues even on the diet then I'd check it out with doctor. If you move up the plans with cambridge, I think you add food groups etc... quite slowly which may make an intolerance (if there is one) more obvious.
Best thing is to listen to your body. It's horrible when you don't feel 100% though. Keep us up dated and I'm sure will be well soon.
Ohhhh and have you tried sipping a little mint tea to see if that settles anything?

Hi, I'm not in anyway saying this could be you but just going to tell you my story. I know exactly where your coming from with the eggy burps etc... from when I did SS a few years ago. When I came off it I experienced the exact same and went downhill in health quickly. After tests it turned out I was Coeliac. If I hadn't done SS before I doubt whether I'd have found out so quickly as the doctors were puzzled whilst I was always anaemic before. I feel doing the Cambridge Diet saved me from future years of poor health. Like I said I'm not suggesting you could be Coeliac or anything but might be worth investigating food intolerances etc... like someone else suggested already xx

Hey Goolian,

What kind of weight losses are you getting by doing CD during the week and off at the weekends?
