hey well i did lipo trim for 3 weeks and i lost a stone but im in 2 shows both involve dancing and ive also started ice skating and swimming. so i went to pharmacist and told him about it because id been feeling bit dizzy and i told me to go onto the maintenance diet 1 drink and something to eat within 1500 calories but lay low on carbs. i was just wondering will i still lose weight on this.

    day 1 on maintenance
    breakfast - apple
    lunch vegie thing salad
dinner packet of crisps and hot chocolate

am i on the right track im not really sure ....

Really sorry but I don't think I can help much. It certainly sounds like you do too much to be able to be on TFR (total food replacement) but as for will you lose weight on what the pharmacist has advised, I can only suggest he should know what he's talking about and to try it for a couple of weeks to see.

The title of this forum sometimes gives people the impression that it is for people following the LT Maintenance plan. None of us are - we are simply trying to maintain our weight loss after losing on LT so sorry if you don't find what you need here. Good luck though!! xx

No honey your not on the right track at all. I did the maintenance programme after tfr- you should be aiming to have one maintence product, a lunch of protein (chicken, fish) and salad and a dinner of protein (steak, chicken, fish) and veg or salad. Or you can have 2 maintenance products and one of the meals above.

Doing so much you will need some carbs, so veg will be good for you , or a baked potato.

Your doing so much a diet of apple, hot choc and crisps is just not healthy hun xx

Totally agree with the above. That sort of diet you have listed above wont give you adequate nutrition, you need to have more substantial foods than apples, crisps and hot chocolate.

    Good luck.

You might be better to join one of the healthy eating programmes like weight watchers or slimming world where you will have support froma course leader. If you want to do a TFR diet then Cambridge may suit you better as it has plans that suit people who have very active lifestyles.
The food you listed for today was very poor from a nutritional point of view and you will not be able to sustain a diet like that. Crisps and choclolate should be a no no in the weightloss phase of your diet.

Well that'll teach me to read posts properly! I read that the pharmacist had advised you go on the maintenance plan but I didn't read what you actually ate!

Dreadful nutritionally - worse than TFR, at least on that you were getting all your nutrients! In fact. You'll make yourself really ill if you carry on like that! I totally agreee with what everyone else has said! xx

Maria, what are you actually trying to do? If you're trying to lose weight then you need a balanced low-calories diet, with lists of fruit and veg, good protein like chicken and lean meats and 'good' carbs like wholemeal bread and wholewheat pasta. There's a few of these things in your menus, is the spag bol and curry home-made? You really do need to google nutrition or join ww or buy some of their books cos what you're eating is a bit hit and miss.......
