Hey. Im deciding to start s&s next week but needed advice. The shakes look fine so getting them but what about the soups/meals/bars? Do they taste good? And on the website it says whatever items +salad/veg. What does that mean?
It really is personal preference. The soups are a bit powdery but I have the chicken one a fair bit. I like most of the bars, maple & almond is my favourite.
The veg is optional. Many of us manage with just the 3 packs. If you do feel the need to eat something the veg is a good choice.
I definitely reomment the spag bol , i got spag bol and cottage pie and although the cottage pie is ok im wishing i just got all spag bol now
ive heard the porridge is ok but a bit tricky to get right
and i havnt tried the soups , i dont find soup very fillling and having had some old tomato soups, which are still in my cupboard becasue they are so disgusting i didnt even entertain trying the new soups , but they may be ok
as for the salad, im having 200g with my spag bol every day and it really fills me up , there is a list that will come with your order of allowed veg, so stick to that
im on my first week second time round , after a break and im going to continue to have the salad while im losing weight but if it slows right down or stops ill cut the salad out until i start losing again as some people say it slows your weight loss down
i have 4 items a day , 2 shakes , i bar , one meal , I cut my bar into tiny portions and pick at it throughout the day rather than wolfingthe whole thing down in one go , i sometimes freeze half a shake as well to have as dessert after dinner
by the way i just learnt that you can specify how many of each meal you want in yur order , next time i will chose mainly spag bol , a few cottage pie and a few porridge
