i would say a couple of glasses of wine are good for you so if you want to drink them without affecting your weight then exercise a little more to make up for them? the social benefits of celebrating and enjoying a few drinks far outweigh the weight gain in my opinion but you can always exercise if you feeling guilty
Shelz, everything in moderation....If you feel you want to have a few glasses of wine then have them specially if its for a celebration. If you deprive yourself too much that's when you can fall of the wagon (so to speak). A little of what you fancy now and again never did anyone any harm. If you do feel too guilty, extra exercise! Anyway, its good to let your hair down now and again...and life is for living, not just for dieting!
