So I'm going out tonight and have used NO syns today. I guess very flexible syns are going to come on board. Which is the lowest syn for volume?

I either go for spirits which are 2.5 sysn a shot, or wine which is 4.5syns for a small 125ml glass. Most other things are much higher.

I am going to be drinking quiet a bit tonight and shall be drinking wine.

How are you doing Wez? I know you were struggling recently, what with the change from CD to SW. Has the weight started to come off now??

I'm in my first week of SW after coming off of CD (was on it for 2 weeks). I had two days of eating normally in between CD and SW. I get weighed on Thursday night and so far.... the scales haven't budged - not even a bit! They are electronic and spot on with the SW scales too. I'm really nervous about going and getting weighed and then finding i've not lost anything - I think I would find it humiliating - although my consultant has sent me an email of support and said she promises not to announce how I've done or embarrass me. It's the first time in years that i've actually been really scared of getting weighed!

Things are not going great although the leader is fab and says she can't fault my determination. I told her I'm very tempted to back to CD so I can see results but she said that I need to eat properly at some time. True.
I know how you feel about weigh in. At least at CD it was just me and the CDC. I just don't get it, lovely people at my group and here at minimins are having fab results and I hear regular comments about how people can't believe how much they can eat. The last few weeks I threw slim fast shakes/bars into the equation so I ate them for breakfast and lunch but eating sw at weekends. The weight still goes on, all 10 lbs of it.

Sorry you're feeling a bit crappy love. I think the only way to do SW and succeed is to completely forget every other diet you've been on. Don't try & mix SW with any other plan as it just won't work. Make a promise to yourself to give yourself 2 weeks of doing it 100% and see what happens.

SW is one wierd diet - it's such a carefully worked out plan, it does really work. You can eat loads (and if you're doing it right you should!) and you should never be hungry. All it takes is a bit of time.

Keep with it chick. Wishing you ++++++ vibes!

It's funny, that what my group leader said so she sent me home with SAS sheets and I'm keeping to the plan. She said after my waiver I could lose 1/2 stone, that would be lovely but I told her I would be motivated by a 2lb loss. She suggested I may be pregnant and I dismissed it instantly but took a test to be sure.
I am committed to SW again now but I'm so frustrated by my need to lose and the lack of results. It seems to work for everyone, I need to prove it will work for me now.
