Alli's 2011 "Head stuff" diet

Linda - I love crates and so do both my dogs!! We took Molly's away about 6 months ago and now that we have a little one for Poppy Molly keeps squeezing into it whenever it's free 
. To get Molly to love her crate I gave her a bonio when I needed her to go in to it - or I'd put some banana mashed up with kibble in a Kong (frozen to make it last) if I had to leave her there for a bit longer. Poppy fell in love with the crate straight away as that's her sanctuary away from pesky children and a grumpy Molly and is fast asleep in it at the moment whilst 4 children and Molly are running riot around the house

Shanny - thanks for checking up on me. I'm feeling blue today and didn't sleep well so am nesting at home with lots of cups of coffee. Friends of the children are over so I'm just keeping out of their way as much as I can. Will deal with the devastation later or better get them to do it!
Went over points yesterday but still on track for the week so all good. No food to snack on in the house which is good as otherwise it would be tempting!

Enjoy your selfish time, its must here in our house, i'm off upstairs to hide away an hour or two to write in my food diary and plan stuff and read a bit of Beck, much needed 'me' time.

Alli, love the new profile pic! You look SO slim and so happy! Sorry you have the Sunday Blues, I do too, have done my have-to-do things for today and hoping for a curl-up evening later, hard to get really motivated when feeling low. Sending a hug and hoping you feel better soon.

Awww, blues all round this weekend then. I had my day yesterday. No particular reason just felt down once I'd done all my cycling and chores. Decided that I would head it off today by inviting Jess round for a couple of days. We are off to see The King's Speech tonight, otherwise I would have sat here as miserable as sin, again. On the up side though, I didn't think about using food as an anaesthetic. What a result?!

Awww thanks both re my signature picture! I didn't feel happy when I took it earlier but wanted to put my picture back on and the old one was so moody - so not what I needed today so I got my phone out and clicked away
I'm still feeling really down - hopefully it will be gone by the morning. I am sticking to plan more or less though despite DH deciding that he wants a curry. Normally if he suggests a curry I say yes in an instance! In fact, and I can't believe I am admitting this, I have on numerous occasions said yes to curry despite having eaten my dinner before he came home from work! I simply don't tell him that I've eaten- I'm so messed up!
Not tonight though - I declined and am drinking squash instead. Think I will go to bed soon to see if I can sleep the blues away!

OMG Alli, that is awesome, despite you saying you ate too much you obviously managed to balance the good days with the not so good days to get that kind of weight loss.... must be the dog walking...

3lbs down this week!! That's lifted the blues - for now I think! Head still fuzzy despite going to bed early but I don't care - 3lbs down!!!

Thanks all! I'm so happy - but know that this is my danger time as good weight loss normally equals let's go mad and celebrate with food!!
I'm feeling better today but our car that broke down on Saturday morning has gone to the garage and they need to keep it for 3 weeks. Our insurance doesn't cover a courtesy car for the first 2 weeks and DH works 2 hours drive away (although he often works from home). Not sure if his work is going to be happy with him being away from the office for 2 weeks until we get a car. Still - not much we can do about it now.
Today has been a good day at work and I'm feeling generally happier - sun shine helps even though it's bl**dy cold - still spring is no doubt on its way!
I need to spend some time on Beck tonight - I am still reading the chapters but am not updating my diary or doing some of the exercises. Must do better!!
Time to put my 2 monsters to bed - and will then settle down with dinner and Beck!
