Allow me to introduce myself..........

Hi everyone! Firstly I hope I've posted this in the right section. This is just the kind of forum I have been looking for. I am a 35 year old male and I started my diet this Tuesday just gone. So far so good. I'm managing to keep off the naughty treats like chocolate and crisps. I have created myself a Blog so that I can keep a record of progress. My blog if you so wish to have a peek can be viewed here There are not too many entries as yet, although I will be updating it on a regular basis. I've had a weight problem for as long as I can remember, and have yo-yo'd most of my adult life. My weight at present is 18 stone and 4 pounds. My ideal weight would be 12 and a half stone. My weight gain is mainly due to comfort eating and being slightly lazy. I used to be really into my running, however I picked up a knee injury in 2005 and I have been on a downward slope ever since. Hopefully with a good network of support and people to chat to (That's You Lot) :D I should be able to shift some pounds. My main reason for dieting, apart from the obvious health reasons, are so that I can fit back into my nice clothes and I'd love to have the confidence to take my daughter swimming. At the moment i'd be too embarrassed to show my tummy and Man boobs :( OK so there's the introduction over with. See you on the forums.....I'm Matt by the way :)
