I don't know what I want from this post exactly as there's no help for me practically. Tea and sympathy I guess.

Like the title says, it was all going so well. Was. Two weeks ago I got my stone and a half award, and I was so happy that I was nearly glowing.

And then we've had a sudden financial crisis combined with a mental health and emotional meltdown on my part. I didn't go to class last week, and the last week has been a case of simply eating whatever bizarre concoctions I've been able to make from what we've been able to scrounge from the depths of the cupboards. Needless to say, sticking to plan has been almost impossible. :(

It's nearly over now, I'll be getting some money tomorrow at last and a huge Tescos order is booked for the afternoon, so we can restock.

But tomorrow morning is WI and I'm terrified. I'm absolutely convinced that I've put on hugely and I just don't know if I can cope with it. Any words of wisdom, tea or virtual hugs would be massively appreciated.

just go face it draw a line in the sand and move on from it thats sometimes how life goes and as this is a lifestyle change these things will happen

these things happen hun. life has a way of sucking at times and you just need to do the best you can with the tools you have. sounds like you have done that and so you have done your best and shouldnt beat yourself up. doesnt sound like you could have done anything else so just WI and look forward to a new week xxx.

It can be nerve wracking getting on those scales, but you genuinly dont know till you get on them.

Not getting on them at all will make you weigh no less or more than you do, it just means you can deal with it properly.

if you dont go and have gained, when u weigh next week you wont know if youv lost anything, if youv lost and you dont know, you wont be able to relax all week because you think youv gained..

and most importantly.. gains are part of life, weeks like this are part of life.. if you want sw for life.. i suggest you face the music hon.

Life has a way of stitching us up sometimes :( Part of SW is learning to deal with these things. We will all fall of the SW wagon at some point or another, some things will take priority over SW in the short term but as long as we reconise this and deal with the longer term we will be ok.
