Angies diary

I am now keeping stumm when i can about my age, and i have even lied on fillingout online forms, when i dont think its any of their right to know my dob i usually lie about the year it helps prevent identity theft too lol. Trouble is, i can lie about my age but i cant fool my body or brain sigh!

Well done on the loss, other than the 1st week on induction I only ever loose at max 2 lb.
We avoided Xmas a few year ago and went skiing, we had been skiing before and loved it, (it is still my fav type of holiday) but never for Xmas. I loved being away but kids and husband ( who does not like Xmas) never want to do it again.....

I do the same Stubbsey... Age is such a judgment thing - I act like I'm 12 half the time even though I'm 96! And I try not to put my correct dob online for the same reasons! Lol

Angie your holibobs sound amazing! I bet you can't wait! Xx

Morning Angie

Hope you're coping with the early starts and late nights, hun! And woohooooooooooooooooo on the weight loss, wtg girl! :D

Mexico sounds wonderful - where you going?

Well done on your loss, it's amazing! What sort of meals have you been eating? I'm either doing something wrong or my fat is stubborn as only lost a 1lb again. Still, it's 1lb less to lose. Won't get to target for crimbo at this rate though so may have to do a couple of weeks of exante to kick myself up the a*se.

My final essay has to be in by tomorrow at 12 and i've only managed 1000 words out of 2500 so going to be a long day and night. To be honest, I don't even know what i'm supposed to be writing about but hoping it will become clear whilst i'm waffling away lol xx

Hope u got the essay finished .....I am like that most of the time just put a load of dribble down eventually it comes together lol...that's what I loved about the open Uni there essays are so much shorter ....I was shocked last year when I had to a 6000 one lol.

if you have myfitnesspal my user name is angiepower you can have a look although I have some weird concoctions on there xx

Thanks sammy...I am pretty astonished with the loss to be honest ....I've been trying to lose for a couple of years calorie counting/weight watchers to no avail few lbs loss here and gaining it back ....was so frustrating.

first time I've ever gone away at Xmas ....my 3 boys are all grown up so don't want to come...find Xmas hard as there are people that are not around anymore and find it a bit of a sad time...so thought this year I would do something different :)

Wow - amazing loss, well done!! I think I need to eat what you're eating! :D

he he he I blaming the rhubarb that I eat everyday x

They haven't happened yet still waiting for a call from the agency that I'm meant to be going to...driving me nuts...I just wanna get into the swing of it....instead of stressing how stressful it will be if that's makes sense lol.

going to riviera mayo and booked into an adults only complex ....I love kids but will be lovely to have a child free zone :) x

Wide awake at 3am grrrr .....woke up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth dehydrated ...2 glasses of red wine last night is the culprit ...now can't back to sleep ....I'm gonna be like a zombie tomorrow or today even ....I'm going up to soho to meet hubby after he has finished watching arsenal play.....we have booked a table in a nice little bistro that we go to and there is loads of Atkins friendly stuff on the menu it's just behind carnaby street......haven't been up to London since June so really looking forward to it.

Had step son come down yesterday haven't seen him since jubilee weekend and whilst we were having dinner....I made wrap pizzas for them (hubby's request) and I had gammon with pizza topping.....hubby pointed to my gammon and said look what she's got.....then I told stepson that i wasnt eating bread potatoes rice etc ....and have lost a stone ....his reply "I thought u had lost weight but didnt like to say" he he he ......hubby kept going on yesterday how good I wasn't looking ....loving the compliments :)

Struggled yesterday as got cheesy topped rolls for lunch for everyone else .....they looked delicious....but was good....have to say the past 2/3 days am struggling ....think it's a mental thing .....I'm actually looking good in my clothes and fitting nicely so the urgency and panicking over my weight is subsiding ....hoping that this is not where it all goes wrong....I get to this weight 11.12 and its like a stumbling block for me ....I tend to self sabotage at this weight. I so want to lose another stone and half ....so I need to focus and I feel the focus is going a bit AWOL ....I've been good ....but think that sometimes I struggle with things to eat....I need to be a bit more creative in the kitchen to stop the boredom creeping in.

So next week is re focus time .....start trying some new recipes .....I don't have much going on next week....no evening meals out or lunches etc thankfully....which is gonna make life easier and although I make good choices like mixed grill or harvester when I go out....you never 100% know whats in your meal....things like sausages, mayo etc.

Got in the scales yesterday morning and think the batteries are going cos it was bouncing around all over the place...first weight in 11.7 thought no way have I lost 5lb overnight...so weighed again then 11.5 very disbelieving got on again and 12.1 so have ordered a new battery for them. Lol....was thinking of investing in a new pair of scales whilst I was ordering battery off amazon ....had a look and it seems a mine field loads of different types with different functions .....I have a pair of weight watchers scales that measure bmi and body fat percentage ....novelty at first and now just weigh myself....so kept my money in the bank :)

Well I hope you all have lovely and enjoyable Saturday and hope I am not a zombie this afternoon with lack of sleep

xx

Good morning from 5am! Sounds like s lovely evening planned for tonight - hope arsenal put hubby in a good mood for it ;) you'll have to report back on the bistro, it's always nice to find out about new Atkins friendly locations. Going t get any shopping in while you're in Soho?

I know exactly what you mean about having a barrier weight it's difficult to get past. For me it's always been 12.6 which I've reached before, but this is the first time I've gotten lower.

I think something in our heads tells us we've done well and deserve treats/ a break etc, and we don't have quite the resolve that we did when we started and knew we really had to lose some. It's so easy to go right back up the scale, though. I know I still have a good bit of weight left to lose and the Xmas season is always difficult - I don't want to slack off now and end up starting all over again in jan.

We can do it!

Just caught up on your diary, your food sounds delicious. Hope you have a great evening, it's years since I went to soho and carnaby street, we left London sixteen years ago to live in the midlands and I do miss evenings like that!
You have been doing so well with your losses, fantastic! :)
