Another newbie 13 stone to shift!

    Evening all. Thought I would post n say hi.
    My weight is incorrect can't work out how to change it atm.
    I have got approx 13 stone to lose. I was given weight watchers free from my doc and in 3 weeks I lost 11lb. Since then I have sts :(
    Feeling more focused now after Xmas and have been doing the new simple start plan. Will know my loss on wed morning. Fingers crossed I will shift it.
    I also am waiting for my induction at the gym. I am very determined that I want to lose weight. I have a 3 year old girl n a 2 year old boy n I hate it that I'm so unfit for them. :(

    forgot to say to change weight go to setting on the far left hand side on the screen it will say edit profile go down and you will find the weight part hope this helps

    Welcome and good luck on your journey. Don't look at it as 13 stone, break it up into small chunks then it won't quite seem as daunting :)

    Hi Tracy, I'm like you with around the same amount left to lose, give or take. I took the plunge 8 weeks ago and started what is hopefully going to be my last major weight loss journey. I have a 5 year son and i often feel like a very bad mummy when I can't do things with him all because of how big I have allowed myself to get. I'm on a major mission to be a fit and healthy mummy. I may have been this big for his first five years of life but I think that is more than long enough. I've just been to the gym tonight for the first time in over a decade as I had a gp referral made and as scared as I was at the thought of it I have actually rather enjoyed it. My trainer was lovely and I didn't feel stupid while working out. Good luck on your journey x

    Hey hun, I had around 13 stone to lose too at the start of my journey. Now I've lost nearly 4.5 stone and it's honestly flown by. Still got a long way to go but mentally and physically the change has been massive. Like others have said you need to break it down into little mini goals so it doesn't seem too daunting. The thought of 13 stone is enough to put anyone off, but if you aim to lose 7lbs and then the next 7lbs it becomes a lot more manageable.

    Thank u all for all your words of encouragement. I had my weigh in on Wednesday and I lost another 3lb taking my loss to a stone.
    I have got my gym induction tomorrow too so hopefully I can get this weight loss even more on track.
    I am taking it 7lb at a time for my targets. If I look at the whole 13 stone I will just fail before I start. I don't want to fail this time.
    I have to lose another 5lb to have lost 5% of my body weight to be eligible for another 12 weeks free at weight watchers. So fingers crossed I can do it.

    wow that amazing weight loss good luck at the gym to i do the same as you i take it a month at a time i try to aim for little goals this moth is to lose 10 lbs and then next month the same i like having little goals x x

    I think having little goals makes the journey a lot more realistic and achievable.
    Def got my head in gear today. I have a point free fakeaway kebab cooking in the slow cooker and a shredded wheat cake in the oven. Little things to try n help.

    yes i love my little goals
    i agree with the fake takeaways they do hit the spot and you think your being naughty but your not its all in the diet
    i love my hairy bikers books and just bought the jamie oliver saver book to
    what is shredded wheat cake ??? you will have to take a pic of it x x

    Bit gutted after eating my fakeaway kebab as I thought lamb was free but it ain't so it cost me 8 points :(

    U can add any fruit to it. I used blueberries as I like muffins but it didn't resemble a muffin to me lol

    Yh I was really hoping it was gonna b like a muffin but hey Ho muffins r naughty treats lol. It's them that contributed to me getting fat.
    Had my gym induction today. But cos I wanna use another gym I got to wait for another blooming induction. Hopefully that won't b a long wait as I'm keen to get going.

    Sorry didn't reply sooner had manic couple days. To b expected with n 2 n 3 year old lol.
    Got new gym induction sorted. It's this Sunday at 12 :)
    Sorry to hear u wasn't feeling too good. Hope u r feeling a bit better now. Got weigh in tomorrow. Even though I been good I got feeling I'm gonna gain. Feel so bloated n poo :(

    Thanks hun. Def dreading the scales. U know when u just feel bloated n think it's gonna show on scales? :( I hope it don't as I only got 2 more wi after tomorrow to lose 5lb to get my next 12 weeks. :(
    Looking forward to the gym though.
    How have u been doing with ur weight hun? What diet r u following? 4.5 stone is a fantastic loss xx
