Antibiotics

I've been prescribed some antibiotics (amoxicillin) - does anyone know if they affect weight loss? I know if I'm SSing I can't put on weight as such but do antibiotics make you retain water etc? I need a good weigh-in this week because I'm starting to falter mentally so I need to see those lbs drop to keep me motivated! Any advice much appreciated :sick: xx

hi i was on antibotics as i had the flu my cd consillor adviced me to not do the shakes as you need carbs in the body for the antibotics to get absorbed into the blood streem so you cant do the cd diet while your on antibotics or if you must she adviced me to have some toast with the tabs

Thanks Nimi, looks like I will have to write this wek off then. At least I won't be "cheating" as such in my mind so hopefully I can get back on track for next week.
