Hi everyone, Ok so its day 4 and i'm already thinking about refeeding :/ i go on holiday in the middle of july so hopefully i can get down to my healthy weight just before then so it gives me time to start on maintenance. Was just wondering if anyone has any experience of refeeding and for how many weeks you have to do this before you can come off the shakes all together?
I was thinking maybe.. 4 weeks on 3 shakes a day, then one week on 2 shakes and a healthy meal, then one week on 1 shake and two healthy meals? Just kinda guessing though really so any feedback of people would be really helpful :) x

    Hi Clare,

What you need to do is have a good read of teh information on refeeding, check outthe instructions and your pharamist should provide you with a print out as well. On this you will have the list of exactly what you should eat on each day, and how you should introduce carbs, dairy, snacks, fruit, etc.
If you follow this you don't have to do anything special!
Good luck with your LT, I was obsessed with refeed while I was on it but the closer it comes in some ways the more frightening food becomes!
Concentrate on being 100% at the moment, you need the focus there the most to get you through the first few weeks!

    Hi Newb!

Thanks for your advice... I actually used to work in a chemist and sold this to lots of people each week.. its just so much different when its actually yourself doing it.. because i now know how hard it is and i don't want to mess up all the hard work by eating the wrong things when i'm introducing food back into my diet. I'm on day 4 now and i think ketosis might have kicked in because I don't actually feel hungry anymore or craving anything (just hope it stays that way). You've done fantastic with your weight loss :) well done! x
