I had a sneak-weigh-in I have to admit. Always keeps me going. Lost a huge amount of water :)

Day two nearly complete - just falling asleep left.

I'm fairly worried for tomorrow and the days after - I am travelling to London (from Sweden) for work and it will be real tough. All my meetings are basically over lunch or dinner but I am most worried about Friday because my meetings are cancelled so I have a full day alone in the city and then in the airport lounge and that's just sheer torture.... I just have to remind myself that this is necessary and if I can just get over these three days I'll be firmly in ketosis and ok after. Make or break.

Maybe I can annoy you by posting instead of cheating every time I'm tempted? Not joke, it would likely help but it would be super annoying...
 
Yeah my consultant had never had anyone lose the much in their first week. I thinking I'll have a small loss next week though but so happy.

Thanks! I'm in London in Friday also for a conference. I'm going armed with lemon bars to avoid the lunch which they have fondly called networking.

You message whenever you need to and we'll reply when we can I'm sure.

It's good to have this stuff planned out though rather than going in to the situation blindly x

Thank you, I'd just day when your away just keep drinking water it will keep you full and take the temptation away, and just comment on here we'll help you take your mind off it. Or go shopping looking at that size you want to get to that will encourage you not to eat xx
 
Carls I realize we just met and I could be an axe murderer (although admitedly one who built quite a long profile on MiniMins in the last 4 years LOL) but if you want to meet for lunch I am fairly free on my way to Paddington and the dreaded airport lounge so we could share a shake/bar and keep our minds off cheating on Friday!

Getting the water in is also challenging on the road Vicha but I'll stop giving myself excuses and just buy monster unelegant 2 liters bottles all the time :)
 
I'm a Probation Officer AMA so axe murderers are my game. Only thing is I don't finish my conference until 4.05 (precise I know) and it's near Buckingham Palace...is that useful or will you be at the airport by then? X
 
How's everyone getting on?? I'm now day 8 and haven't cheated once, I even just did a supermarket trip with my day which don't get me wrong was tough but I managed! Think I'm starting to get somewhere xx
 
That's really good Vicha. The supermarkets are the place of temptation aren't they. I'm just on my own so I don't need to worry about going shopping or anything. So that's a positive for me really.

I'm on day 15 and not so much of a cheat. We are absolutely right to be proud of ourselves. This is just amazing!!! It's easier to do when the weathers nice I think, less temptation and desire for comfort food x
 
Hello everyone!

No cheat here either but goddang I was close a few times! Well done to all three of us!!!

The London trip was a logistics nightmare - hotel booking lost, had to run around finding another and then spend the last night with a friend, no phone reception, no card working, etc- but I have drank a gazillion liters of water! :)

At the airport at 2 pm to take a conference call - would have loved to meet you!-

Now that will be a test - the airport lounge with the free food!

Hi both, I tried to reply yesterday but lost signal on the train journey in and also lost my post. Sorry we couldn't catch up Ama but I hope you had a safe journey home. Hope you are well too viccha.

I'm on day 18 of no shakes and I'm a bit concerned as to how easy I'm finding it. Tho I wonder if that's because I live alone and so there's very little temptation unless I put it there myself.

Hi, day 18 wow your so good I'm just finishing day 11 and going well no cheats! Have been moving house this week and doing DIY so hoping that's helped but not expecting a massive loss on wed cause I lost so much last week.
I think it helps massively being on your own my housemates away and cause she's not eating around me its been great.

Both have a good weekend xx
 
It does help when there are no cheats in sight -hence my (sadly justified:() fear of the airport lounge. Home it's great because my hubby joined me this time around and he's doing it for a few weeks (he did once before when we lost the whole weight before baby but men loose so much faster!) and any time something the baby eats tempts me I took to literary throwing it or at least hiding it from view fast :)

It was a week today (if only 109% because of the dang lounge) and I seem to have lost another kilo in total having lost a whooping 11 lbs! Whoo! it will slow down horribly from here and most was weight lostt but I am looking forward to seeing even the 4-5 lbs lost next week -it will mean I've been good and can well and truly do this till August!

How is everyone going?
 
Hi glad to hear your still doing well. My weigh ins a day late this week so got till wed, I've jumped on the scales at home and its not showing a loss which is slightly annoying but I wasn't expecting much as I lost so much last week, hope it starts go drop off so I notice it soon though! . I've struggled these past 2 days really wanted to eat , thinks its cause I've been moving house. I haven't though I've resisted!! X

Hope you are well! That's a brilliant loss Ama and I hope ur weigh in is fruitful for you Viccha, which I'm sure it will be. I've had mine tonight, went in just wanting a 1lb really to break 4stone and came out with a 5lb loss. So I'm really pleased with that. I've stocked up on leek and potato soup, the lemon bars and choc shakes which are all my favourite.

I think you've done amazing, moving house and being away from home are massive tests to your will power and resilience. Proud of you both very much.

I'm expecting quite a straightforward week this week, so that's good for me also.

Love that! This weekend had taken its toll but I'm so pleased I've kept with it. Wow 5lbs that's great how long is that now for you?? X
 
Well from April to October last year id lost 5 stone but then went through a rough patch of grief after losing my mom so I effectively started again three weeks ago and had put on 1.5 stones. So now with my current loss I'm at 4 st 4lbs. I'm not really sure how to calculate the time really as for me it was just about being able to get back on LAN and not give up properly which I previously would have done. It's all a learning curve isn't it. I learnt I massively emotionally eat x
