I used to get cramps but much later with CD. I read that this is lack of sodium in our diet. Although CD is designed to provide all minerals and vitamins because we are all very different - it's not always perfect for everyone. I would strongly recommend multivitamins with minerals. x

As Mimi said, some people get cramp on this diet because of the the movement of water between the cells which can change sodium levels.

Try Crampex which is something you can get from the chemist, or have a small drink of slimline tonic water just before you go to sleep. Tonic water isn't normally allowed except in this case, but having it just before sleep shouldn't cause a problem.

Alternatively, if you have soups, try adding a pinch of salt for now. It's something that should settle by itself in a week or so.
