hahaha I know, Dont think its true though

Boooo =(

Im gunna get some weights out of the cupboard at break and check them! If they are right I might start weighing in at home as that is a massive difference

I weigh in at a 7.30 group but because I help out I get weighed first so wegih at about 7 then do the paying.

Annie to find out the centimetres you times by 2.5.

I thin I might try dig out my measurements. I must have lost quite a bit because I was in a 16 before and now im in a size 10 jeans. My hips used to be massive. I wish my thighs would go down though!

I have been considering weighing at home as I dont think the C's scales are correct. Theres no way I could have gained that much this week so I bought some scales from Asda and they say I am 9stone4!!!! I think i would rather go off them lol. Though I do normally weigh in on a night I dont think I can gain nearly a stone in a day! I might get the doctor to weigh me next time I go in.

Personally I would stick with your class scales. If you've been weighed on them since you started, I would trust them more than shop bought ones.Try & look at the bigger picture & unless you've eaten 8750 extra calories last week, Im sure the gain of 2.5lbs could be other reasons....i think to put on a pound of weight you need to eat an extra 3500 calories to put a pound on???

Yeah apparently it's 3500 extra.. Crazy. It most likely is different reasons. Maybe accidently had more salt than usual? Makes water rentention worse. TOTM, not drinking enough water, not enough superfree.. Stress?

Could be stress. My doc has put me on some happy pills for my headaches. They do say that they can make you gain weight but he said as long as I eat healthy it shouldnt effect me. I will keep going to class because I love my C and I have a right laugh there. Just frustrating when you have a gain :-(

Right girls, some lighthearted advantages of weighing in at home alone, in the morning & please dont think Im encouraging anyone to leave class, these are just my reasons.......

[*]you can be naked
[*]you can ensure you have rid your body of any fluid or solid matter
[*]you can remove any jewels, hair pieces, false eyes or dentures
[*]you can stand on tippy toe & one legged
[*]you can move the scales around the house like a demented woman until you find a spot that weighs you less
[*]you can lie to your OH's, family, friends & people at MiniMins, say you've lost more than you have & nobody would know
[*]go to a clinic & have a colonic the day before WI

Think these are all my mad ideas......out of the 7 reasons to WI at home, I do 2 of these!!!!!!! :8855:

I do four :)

Naked, empty body, removing jewels and moving the scales around the room!

They can sometimes increase your appetite, but not directly cause you to put on weight. It's great that you enjoy your class so much :)

Just had my first cup of green tea....... It was ok !! :)

If I ever have green tea I tend to get the one flavoured with something like grapefruit or lemon, otherwise its rank!!! x

I know what you mean Kim my mum drinks it all the time and I've tried it before and can't get passed first sip.
I absolutey love normal tea, I'm a yorkshire tea girl, but have always had a sweetner in it, so find green tea quiet bitter. anyway I've picked up the mild & light and it's not bad. Going perservere to have at least one cup a day, along with sf squash, should be up at 2 ltrs before I know it :) x

I try to have 3 cups of green tea a day but mine is flavoured too. I also tend to get the lemon one but then I do like bitter tastes!

I go through phased of loving green tea and having loads of cups a day, but at the min I'm addicted to chocolate tea and can't wait to try some vanilla chai tea bags I've spied :)

Drank 1l of water already this morning (though accidentally bought flavoured volvic at 5 syns rather than the sugar free one) and feel rather good - less hungry before my breaks!

Weather lovely again today - might go for a walk when I finish work to the shop for some new potatoes to go with my curry tonight.

What is everyone else having for dinner?

Annie - I totally understand your nerves, I can barely sleep Friday nights before my Saturday weigh in and I wake up on sat really early! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but it seems your been super good this week so a loss should be on the cards! Xx

Im a Yorkshire tea girl as well! I always put sweetener in my fruit/green teas as well, but not in ordinary tea x

Garden day me thinks today, so Im going to dig out the sun lounger out of the shed (unless the mice have eaten it to bits!) & have a sun bathe....height of laziness, but dont care as its supposed to get colder at the weekend! x

Hi girls, I've been reading your posts for a few days and you seem a friendly bunch, can I join in please?? I posted on another 9 stone zone thread but there isn't much going on in there so thought I'd post here instead. I got into the 9's a few weeks ago..weighed in at class yesterday and lost 2.5lb this week so I now stand at 9 stone 10. I need 0.5lb loss this week for my 2 stone award and I'm 3lb off target but I think I will end up lowering that to 9stone eventually. xxx
