Vodka lime & soda is lush as well & less Syns than wine. They're guests in your home so should be happy with lovely SW food & they're getting fed for free lol! Pizza not weird just FOOD OF THE DEVIL......DO NOT GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION !!! X
 
Made a little picnic and took it to the park with some magazines to read! Have to confess this week I havnt really been doing sw as have been loaded with cold so just calorie counting instead, keeping it up until weigh in just out of interest really and still can't taste anything so eating is very random! X
 
Oh that sucks.. My family is a lot lke that. Just have whatever you want to have, if they complain that you're only having rice just remind them that it's your choice how to control your food. If you don't want to use syns on an impromptu takeaway than that's up to you =). Crack on!

Exactly. I wouldn't have minded if I had factored it in to a day's syns, but not having "treat nights" after WI this time around with SW has really helped my losses!

What is your stepmum doing wanting a takeaway for if she's on SW?
Why not make the toad in the hole anyway & you can have it & then leftovers tomorrow. Don't be sabotaged as your doing so well. Thinking of you at WI tonight...good luck x

Remember we had the whole "she's just not that into it" conversation a couple of days ago? She is saying to order in because my Dad has to help my little bro make an Easter bonnet for school - but I don't see how that affects anything if I'm the one cooking anyway? We usually eat once the children are in bed, so I don't see the problem? It's really annoyed me!

I agree just make it anyway and take the leftovers for dinner. I love toad in the hole yumyum

I haven't tried the SW recipe one yet - I'm looking forward to it :) Not sure I can just make it anyway - strictly speaking, it's not my kitchen and I'm a guest lol

Thanks lovely. It has annoyed me. I'm going to prove a point and have rice even if I get "well, you can't have just that"!

Only problem is, a new fish and chip shop has just opened in their village and I'm almost certain that's what she's going to suggest. If so, cheese on toast with my 2nd HEB and HEA of the day :)

You're doing the best you can hun, and that's all that matters. You're still in control and that's the main thing. Most people would use it as an excuse to binge x
 
Annie I'm not sure why anyone would pay all that money weekly & just not follow SW, senseless to me, she just doesn't want to lose weight that desperately! Its a shame that she doesn't respect your weightloss but nought queer as folk! I would just do your own thing & if you haven't got the ingredients for toad in the hole just have what you can or otherwise she may try to sabotage every week! Also I can't get my head around 'treat nights', why have them. SW is about changing habits & surely that's what people did before SW, reward themselves with food! Defeats the object as you have to work twice as hard the next week to get it off! X

Nikki - making some SW food is definitely a good thing - then you're not going too 'off plan' :) With things like that I try to be good otherwise I end up feeling shitty afterwards!

Annie - make your own dinner, leave them to it. I'd be annoyed as well! And good luck for later :)

Oh no Nikki I hope its not our fault for encouraging you to eat a SW bbq as not the intention! Honestly tho just cook the food & if you go off track it DOESN'T MATTER! Life's too short to stress about one evening & one meal out of 21 in a week. Just enjoy your family & friends & food & booze x

Thanks Kim :) I just really want at least a maintain in Saturday so I can enjoy Saturday night and then I have nothing else planned until eater Sunday so I have 1 week to be 100% and then I have 4 weeks until my next weekend away in Birmingham. I think I can control this :)

Don't forget tho you are already a very healthy BMI & weight so to maintain is a feat in itself! Just enjoy tonight & the weekend & follow SW when you've got no socials x
 
I agree with Kim :) don't deprive yourself of something you want, but at the same time perhaps try not to eat stuff just because it's there (which is what I usually end up doing on an off plan day!) if you know what I mean? Xx

Yeh totally agree. I'll be as good as the wine allows.... As soon as I've had a glass that's it I eat anything in sight (within reason) I'm a total crisp-a-holic and gave them up for lent and have missed them at all! Pistachios however.....

I've also discovered the cause for my headaches! Chocolate! It comes on as soon as I have some so I'm going to cut it out and see what difference it makes, need to find other things to spend my syns on now !

I had a friend who was exactly the same with chocolate :(
 
Was curious about headaches & chocolate, so had to do a little research (I research everything to the death if I dont know the answer!) & I found this.....

The culprit may be phenylethylamine (PEA). PEA is the chemical in chocolate that may cause the blood vessels to expand and contract. However, it's also a natural mood enhancer, stress reliever and memory enhancer. So once again, it may have more good than bad for some people. The chocolate and headache connection is still unclear.
 
Oh my goodness - all of this super free soup is playing havoc with my digestive system! I've only got 2 more days worth in the freezer then it's back to salads next week I think hahah! X

What did you put in it? It'll be all the fibre chick!!!!! Good for weightloss tho haha! I have to take drugs for that department coz of all the horrible painkillers I have to take, so Im one way or the other! x
 
Lost 3.5lbs!! Got my 1 stone award! Only 0.5lbs from Club 10 :)

Scales were flickering between 3 and 3.5 so I'm pleased. 2lbs from my SW target, but I'm going to lower it x
