Well done on the batter - not sure I could have shown that much willpower! You might be alright for sat WI if you're good for the rest of the week ;) you had such a great loss last week though so even with a small gain you'd still be better off!

I'm like that after I've had some super rich food :( hope you enjoyed it while you were eating it though!

What time did you manage? I've found that I've decreased my time by using interval training rather than just running really fast as it gives your body a minute or two to rest between periods of speed. My favourite interval programme is 5 mins @ 9kph warm up, 1 min 10kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 12kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 10kph and then repeat until you have reached either 4.5km or the whole 5kph and do 5 mins @ 9kph for a cool down. If I'm feeling particularly speedy I'll add a 13 kph minute at the top of the pyramid, or do the next pyramid at 2 mins per speed rather than 1. Hope that helps? X

Thats some good interval training Charlie, no wander the weight is dropping off you! You must be careful to eat more tho, so maybe if you stick with Red days you could double your pasta on HexB so at least you'll get a decent portion & maintain your weight x

I've been up all night with horrendous stomach pains. God knows what up with me but I feel SO sick!

I can't stand running at the same speed for the whole run, so I usually do pyramids or intervals. Yesterday I did an incline interval run, was a killer as I usually run on 0% incline! I've ordered some of the hydration tabs, can't wait to try them out :)

That's a very good idea for the HEB on red days, though I usually would choose the jacket potatoes. I did find that 100g cooked pasta HEB was a decent sized portion - just looks so stingy before its cooked! :)

SYN FREE BBQ SAUCE

BBQ sauce recipe

you will need
1 onion, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tsp mild chilli powder
227ml/8fl oz passata
3 tbsp artifical sweetner
4 tbsp balsamaic vinegar
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp mustard powder
salt and freshly ground blacke pepper.

balslmic vingar and worchestershire sauce provide the basis for this great tasting bbq sauce thsat is perfect for a dip, basting a chicken thighs or vegetable kebabs before a bbq, lady who gave me this recipe said she has them on spare ribs and cooks them in the oven so she has bbq spare ribs.

spray a pan with fry light and saute the onion and chilli powder over a low heat for 5 minutes until softened.

stir in the remaining ingrredients, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes untill thickened. check the seasoning before serving hot or cold.

syn free on both days ready in 20 minutes serves 4 and freezer friendly.

I copied this from the main thread for you Charlie. When I made it for the first time, I made it exactly as stated & found it too spicy, so your best bet is to make it & then fiddle around with the quantities to make it to your taste. It is gorgeous & I have it with meatballs & Hunters Chicken. Also, I make the sauce & then pour over the meatballs/chicken & cook in the oven for about 45-60 mins to get all the flavours infused.
To make the meatballs.....pack of extra lean mince, 1 beaten egg, dash of worcester, small squirt of tomato puree & salt/pepper. Sometimes I add in a grated carrot & minced onion for extra, but only if I can be bothered!
Mix all the ingredients together & shape into little balls. Place on a oven proof tray & cook in the oven at 180 for about 15 mins. Remove from oven & drain off the excess liquid (can be used Im sure, but I like to get rid of any fat!) Pour the cooked BBQ sauce over the meatballs & cook in the oven 180 for about 45-60 mins.
For the roasted veggies........I use chopped BNS, carrots, red onions, mushrooms, peppers & courgettes. Place on a oven proof tray with frylight & then top with the veggies & more frylight over the veggies. I then sprinkle on S & P & sweetener (helps with the flavour & caramalises). Cook in the oven for approx 60 mins or longer if you like them well done. Use a lot of veg, as it tends to shrink down & you can always have it cold with some pasta/rice the next day if you cook too much.

To serve, I always have 45g LF cheese grated over the meatballs/sauce.........delicious x​

Oh dear, have you eaten some extra rich food that could have upset your tummy? Just stay hydrated & maybe have something light to eat like dry toast & scrambled eggs.....hope you feel better soon x

It's been like this since Wednesday I think but last night my tummy was really swollen I looked 8 month pregnant! It's gone down this morning. I've had some dry toast but not budging so just gunna drink lots of cordial. Try flush it out!
On the plus side it looks gorgeous today so gunna take the pups for a big walk!

Brilliant, I hope you get on OK with them, as my DH swears by them.
Im sure you'll find out what works for you to maintain the weight, but reading the Maintainers thread, a couple of girls seem to struggle & carry on losing, which you cant afford to do really, as your BMI will become too low! Will be interested to see how you do it tho, when I get there! x

It was certainly playing havoc, then I had a real bad nights sleep so can't imagine I'll be doing too much today!

OH is still being short with me :-( he's going out I think when we get home so will give us some time alone to breathe! X

Maybe, like you say it will give you both time to think about why you had a row & when he gets back, you can sit & have a chat about it. Was it anyone's fault in particular or just one of those silly moments.....sorry, not meaning to pry x

My BMI doesn't get anywhere near 18.5 until 8 stone, so even if I lose a few pounds accidentally it shouldn't matter too much. I think it will probs come down to having a few more syns (the full 15 or more) and going back to EE rather than red days (I don't find much of a difference between the two unless we've planned a meal that we'd usually have with rice). X

It was me being paranoid with him and him hiding his phone. Sounds silly but I've been through so much rubbish with ex boyfriends I'm not having it happen again :-( I love him so much and I don't want him to break my heart. X

I can understand if you've had trust issues with other boyfriends, its a horrible 'place' to be. Have you been together long? Do you feel you're justified about your feelings of paranoia? You both need to sit & talk about it, as jealousy can eat you alive & can be very destructive x

We have known each other 8 years and have been together 16 months. I think I am yes, he just does everything that he knows makes me paranoid. Sometimes I feel he does it because he knows it gets to me :-( x

No bloomin wander then! But why would he want to exacerbate your feelings like that, that's just cruel. I think if he does say things that you know will get to you, just question him about it. Ask him why he said those things & I know easier said than done, but just take what he says with a pinch of salt,take a deep breath & ignore it. If you do that everytime he tries to get a rise out of you, he will soon get fed up with it & may possibly stop doing it.
But I would question tho, why does he feel he needs to say these things to make you paranoid? It sounds a bit controlling to me. I would try & talk to him about his behaviour tho Nikki, as its no way to live like that, its cruel & unkind x

Just on a SW note... At breakfast I had 2 wm slices of bread, they were from a big loaf but were so thin.... Shall I count it as 1 HEXB or 2?
