What time did you manage? I've found that I've decreased my time by using interval training rather than just running really fast as it gives your body a minute or two to rest between periods of speed. My favourite interval programme is 5 mins @ 9kph warm up, 1 min 10kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 12kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 10kph and then repeat until you have reached either 4.5km or the whole 5kph and do 5 mins @ 9kph for a cool down. If I'm feeling particularly speedy I'll add a 13 kph minute at the top of the pyramid, or do the next pyramid at 2 mins per speed rather than 1. Hope that helps? X
