Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Defo must be the tablets. Unfortunately everything on the menu is deep fried this and deep fried that. The only thing grilled is salmon but the last 2 times I've had salmon I've been Ill so need to decided when I get there I think. They do a ceasar salad so I might ask for a salmon salad or steak salad of some description. X

Woohoo not weight 9.7 since 1995 that's 17 years ago OMG I feel fantastic !!!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to all you lovely ladies for all your help and advise on this thread and making me feel part of the group it really is keeping me going and you're all inspiring me to reach target.

I know I'm not doing the 119's ( I do feel that would be too low for me) but I plan now to get to 9.4 and then hopefully maintain that, giving me 4-5 lb range to play with, I feel ok at 9.9 so that will be my top weight.

That's a great name! I'm Shellie and as my user name says, I am definitely not in my 20's!! It won't be long until you reach your target goal! X

Just trying to motivate myself to do some cleaning up. At the moment, I desperately need an ironing fairy! Three children (two of whom are teenagers) and a sports mad husband equals an awful lot of ironing :-(.

I've set myself some goals for this week. They include having syns as part of meals and not added extras (there's a new thread on this today). If I have a 100% week, with no alcohol, I'm going to push for a decent weight loss next week.

Better start moving now. 9 1/2 hours to WI and the all too familiar cramps have started :-(. X

I'm sure it'll be fine =). I can't actually remember the last time i had alcohol after i started in january.. Actually i do! Where it says my 3lb gain.. That was my housemates birthday. Lots of alchol and lots of junk food to deal with the hangover the next day haha.

Slightly dreading what my gain will be after my birthday in 3 weeks. I'm determined to do this april challenge!

Not at all!
Basically, I tend to just use my syns on wine. That's not bad in itself, but I really notice a dip in my energy levels on the day after I've had a drink.
When I got to target last time, I hardly drank and so my syns went into meals. Ive always had good losses (just lucky, I guess), but then I would have massive ones! On the day I hit target at 8stone 3, I lost 5.5lbs in that week!
I'm really not a chocolate person and I now wine is my downfall (and the reason why I put weight on) so it makes sense!
Have a read of the thread, several other people are saying the same thing. X

Steak salad sounds yummy!! Don't make yourself ill just because there isn't much choice.. Defo ask about the steak salad though!

Used being late for work and having to wait 40 mins for my bus as an excuse to get all my food shopping done for the week :) all stocked up, aside from Tuesday evening's meal, which I will get nearer the time x

I had a look. Yeah, most weeks i do tend to use them half and half. Majority of my syns in the week go towards my meals (honey, butter, cornflour, gravy etc) but last week i had used all of them... And slightly more.. On chocolate. Felt awful haha. I hope switching it up works for you. Completely amazed by the 5.5lb loss in the 8s!

I wear new balance but if you go to any good running shop they will look at the way you run and how your feet land and should suggest the correct ones for you. It is a very individual thing.
Google running shops in your area.

I wear the k Swiss tubular running trainers. I used to run in addidas pumps which were ok on a treadmill x

is it nervous cramps? I always really weirdly can't go to the loo on weigh in day. I'm sure it's all in my head but maybe that's why my weight fluctuates
 
Morning everyone.....I just got up lol. Din fall back asleep till bout 6 so I deserve a lie in! Stomach is still killing so gunna ring docs.
Gunna try go to loo (I am actually still in bed lol) then try some zumba. Try bounce the pain away lol. Then failing that a nice long bath. God I love holidays. I so could be a lady of leisure!

I used to like my new balance ones best but am now totally I love with Nike. The free run range are great they have really bendy soles to mimic barefoot running. Or lunarswift / lunar glide models are good for general exercise too they are so comfy and have really squishy soles. I usually get mine off eBay for mega cheap I am an eBay queen lol! If you are up to a size 6 try kids ones exact same but so much cheaper, I'm usually a 6 in shoes but a kids 5.5 (biggest kids size they do) is a perfect fit for me. Sports direct often have previous season models for really cheap - often exact same but just in a colour they don't make any more! X
