Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Morning ladies
Day 8 of the shred done whilst I was doing it I thought if I'd done this sat and sun I'd be on day 10 now so a bit cross with myself for not doing it, it really is over before you know it. Must try this week to do it every day.
That post is just what i needed to read thanks Kim for posting, although as I was measuring my neck, the lad I work with said "what the..... are you doing, your obsessed" lol Me??:D anyway it worked out that my body fat is 27% so acceptable, but to get it down to 23 which is middle of fitness, then need to lose 2" from waist and 2" from hips, so thats not unobtainable. last time i did the shred I lost 1" from both and didn't complete it. So that's my plan now to complete the shred (even if it does take longer, if I dont do it every day) and maintain my weight.

Emma you sound like how i feel, maybe a short break from it all like me, will help us see the bigger picture. You are in the healthy bmi bracket so maybe trying to maintain for a while will take the pressure off.

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK

Shellie suggested a booze free 2 weeks, as our downfall is wine on a Friday/Saturday night.....who wants to join us? So no drinking til weekend after next or mine might be til Thursday the 3rd as its my birthday!

Spent ages trawling through the threads to find I didnt post my actual measurements but I did post what I had lost for 2 weeks.

Calf....-2cm this week/-5cm
Thigh....0cm/-3cm
Hips....-4cm/-7cm
Waist....-3cm/-7cm
Under bust....-2cm/-5cm
Bust....-4cm/-5cm
Chest....-4cm/-10cm
Arms....-1cm/-1cm

They are pretty good, would be great if that happened again.

Emma If you feel you need a break from group just call target then go back when you feel you can or dont go back. Im sure your C will understand.

Forgot to tell you all yesterday as I was so annoyed my MIL said that my face is too thin in photos!! This really annoys me. she knows im still not happy with how i am and goes on bout been too thin. I just want to shout just because you gave up on sw doesnt mean i have to!

Hmm, I think I would call target if I was happier with how I look but still feel really big and it's less than 7 weeks til bikini wearing.

Think I'm gong to break my goal down and now aim for 9 stone 7 - seems a lot more achievable and can then lower it in stages. At the moment 8 stone 7 just seems way to far away and I'm getting disheartened. What do u all think? Sorry for being so up and down. X

What about calling target and focussing on exercise? If its your size your worried about exercise will tone you up easy :)

Emma you need to do what feels right for you huni, i just felt very out of control and been there before and dont like it so needed to hault it all before i become poorly (mentally i mean not physically).
It does sound better though to make your target a little closer, as the saying goes, "by the inch is a sinch by the yard is hard" ;). xx

I am tempted by the shred but tbh I am quite saintly with exercise. It's the binge eating which is my big downfall. I have had a weekend of doing it and now feeling a lot of self loathing :(

Then you need to get to the route of why you feel the need to binge eat. Maybe trying thinking about your emotions when you feel the need to binge. A lot of why we binge can be traced back to emotions x

Yeah, you're so right but I honestly don't know. Sometimes it's boredom and other times it's classic comfort eating - one thing is for sure - its never hunger! X

I sometimes get the same. Have you tried one of them graze boxes Annie had a free code for? Mine came on Saturday and did wondered for snacking while watching sat night tv x

Try think of some positives!!


My positives for today
1. I managed to get up before my son and complete day 9 (he didnt get up until 8, lazy bum)
2. I am going to my SILs for tea so I dont have to cook!
3. The 'lodger' is signing for a new house today so he should be gone by the end of the week, though I will miss his cleaning!!

They are pretty good positives :-D

Oooh I love your positives. V good news on the lodger :) bet that will make life a lot easier!!

I do thank u!! You've definitely stopped me from hearing face first to a slab of chocolate!

Ha ha, I am excited but it's for work so usually long hours but I do get the weekend off so need to focus on that :) xx
