Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Weigh in was today and lost another pound. Down to 9.12 now which not been for almost a year. Well pleased. I did red days all this week because I have found that since having red days my weight loss has picked up again. Now I am concerned that if I go back to extra easy that it may stay at a stand still again. On extra easy I do tend to miss out the super free foods and be a little bit more generous on the portion sizes. So I do find it harder to stick to so just might go back to red and green days. As that clearly works for me. Gonna be good this week although out drinking booze on saturday so that could be tough to be a angel ha ha

Haha, I had a biiiiiig gain last week! Plus ate loads of superfree and planned my meals. Stuck to around 7 syns a day. I guess you could say I went back to basics lol

I highly doubt I can do it again next week tho!!!!

Downtown which plan did you follow x

Fantastic, well done! That's a colossal loss!

Also, with your weetabix, perhaps you could add banana and berries to make it 1/3SF?

Thanks!

I follow extra easy, I've never had a red or green day x

Hmm, I'm not much of a berries person, but will try it with a banana :) thanks x

There appears to be nothing stranger than our bodies................after massive loss last week Ive put on a pound this week! The only thing different, as again Im on plan 100%, is I had 6 days of Extra Easy & 1 of Red.....I usually have more Red, with a few of Green & Extra Easy! I have also started back on my road bike......oh well, as I well know it all balances out in the end & I am a slow loser!
Still in the 9's tho.......no more EE weeks for me, will just have an odd one as per usual!

You might find if you've just started more exercise that your body might hold onto a bit more water initially, it'll soon come off again :)

Me too Kim, despite being 100% and exercising the scales are showing a 1/2lb gain for me :(

But definitely agree with downtown, I find exercise gives me a gain especially if I change my routine (which I have this week) but it comes off after a few days.

We'll all get there eventually if we stick to it, slow losses are better in the long term after all - I'm just very impatient!

A new exercise program changes the chemical makeup of your muscles as an adaptive response to increased activity. The changes that take place in your muscles after exercise prepare them for more of the same by storing additional fuel for energy. Muscles replenish glycogen stores after a workout, and water retention is a natural side effect of this process. Consult with your doctor before you start a new exercise program if you have a history of health problems.
Factors
Glycogen is hydrophilic, which means that it attracts water, says personal trainer William Sukala. For every gram of glycogen you store, 2.7 g of water is also retained in the muscle. This happens not only as a result of new exercise programs but also takes place after workouts in an established exercise regimen. Glycogen stores are needed to fuel muscles during physical activity. When exercise depletes glycogen stores, more carbohydrates get converted to glycogen, and water retention results.

Evening all!
I keep forgetting to post in this bit :ashamed0005:

I'm down to 9st 3lb, lost a stone so far and only 4lb until I'm 8st something.

I've been noticing the difference in my clothes and even had to put an extra notch in my belt this week:bliss:

Plan now is to up the exercise cos my flabby tummy may have shrunk but its still flabby and won't tone up by itself. Started going to Aqua fit with my mum and my mate has convinced me to join the gym he goes to - along with promising me he'll take me home afterwards & not let me pick up a takeaway on the way :giggle:

Heyy!

I've had to up my exercise too, after a 4 stone loss my legs really require a bit of work :p

Good luck making it into the 8's!

Weigh in this morning shows 3/4lb loss, am very pleased considering the scales have been threatening a gain all week!

I did change my exercise routine this week, and as per Kim's article I think that might be the reason.

How is everyone else getting on? Xx

I weighed myself this morning and says another pound loss but then that because skipped dinner last night and got drunk lol. So I am now thinking by wednesday weigh in that the cals from yesterday will show on the scales. We shall see. Also I have found when losing weight that is comes from the head downwards. So my boobs seem alot smaller than my thighs ha ha.
