Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Donna how did you get on at docs? That's great that little one had good time at dads, nothing to worry about in the end x

Only in there two minutes once he called me, basically wanted to tell me because the cyst hasn't changed in the 6 weeks (which it should have done as normally they change throughout your cycle) so at two points in my cycle it was exactly the same he wants to refer me to have a more detailed scan. He's still not worried though, did mention keyhole surgery to remove it if I keep having problems but I haven't had the pains for a while.

So ladies WI tonight, 9st 12 so a 3.5lb loss!! Well chuffed! I know on saturdaythe scales were at 9st 10 but that was in the morning and naked lol

So after my Saturday night out and nighttime wearing clothes. I'm super happy :) even happier that OH is being super supportive.

I was 9st 11 on my scales so I'm chuffed that it's only 1lb heavier than sat morning xx

well done, that's fantastic

Goodness that's a long one. Would it be scheduled breaks or stop as you feel fit? You have all done brilliant and your weight loss has shown that sw and excercise do work. I do question my ability to stick at anything and feel like I should stick to what I know rather than go back to tryin ww, just toying but I think the issue for me isn't sw or ww its simply having focus.
How much lower do you want to go Kim?

Ha ha yes it is a biggie! I did a 60 miler last year in 4 hrs 23 mins & it was hilly so hopefully I'll manage a 100 ok! There will be feed/water stations throughout the route but its best to take your own fluids as well.
I definitely want to get to 8.7 as that's my target so 4lbs to go but if I go lower thru cycling I won't complain! Ideal world I would love to be 8.2 but not sure it would be sustainable.

I think anything is achievable if you really want it & you have to be committed & focused whatever it is. I know a lot of people lose with just SW but personally I think you should incorporate exercise for all the health benefits it gives you. However, if you don't enjoy exercise it won't be sustainable which is why people should do an exercise they enjoy.
I've always exercised in one form or other, used to be running & squash & now its cycling as its a low impact sport.
I can't imagine not being active & when I wasn't when I had my neck problems I was miserable, but I have always exercised so its hard not to do it. Another advantage of exercise you should be able to maintain your weight once at target as you burn lots of calories & I know when I was running I could keep my weight down, so hoping that will be true this time.
So Debbie you're right as long as you remain focused on whatever plan you decide & incorporate exercise you'll get there xx

Not sure depends when one comes up and could go to a number of hospitals for it as well. I'll let you know when I get a letter through, really hoping it isn't too far away, rather just have it done with.

Glad to hear you've woken up positive. mmmm I feel like I should say weatabix but crumpets are yum!!! Which plan are you following now? (sorry I'm terrible I can't keep up)

Had an eventful morning myself, little one trapped his fingers in the door at half 6 so been sorting him out, then we decided to sort out his PJ and underwear drawer (well his summer pj's, I still need to have a nose to see what's on top of his wardrobe (where all his winter pj's, swimming stuff and jumpers are) and there was a spider in the drawer which gave me a heart attack, but little one was with me so didn't want him to see I was scared lol. It ended up getting away but we worked as a team trying to get it in a cup to put it outside lol

Donna, sorry to hear you've had a bit of a crazy morning. Hope little one is ok?

Vicky, did you join ww online? When's your WI day?

Does anyone know any good recipes for beef? I have 2 beef grilling steaks at home and was thinking of having them tonight. Having a red day I think, but will leave the choice open for now.

X

He seemed fine when I dropped him off at school, but was concerned he wouldn't be able to eat while there because of his fingers (although I'm sure he will have forgotten about it by the time they have snack) but I warned his teacher. I think he quite enjoyed the spider incident to be honest. So that's good.

Depends what sort of thing you like or what the weathers like, I make casseroles by frying off onions and whatever meat I have (so beef in your case) with any other veg I have in mushrooms ect. then I add stock and either pasatta or chopped toms. You could have that on a red day with loads of veg or if you do ee you could have mash with it and add beans to the casserole.

Or I also really like fajita mix, made up with passata and spices.

Today we're having beef and spinach curry. boyfriend makes it, but I think its pretty much beef, chilli, onions, spinach, mushrooms fried off with spices then pasatta added and simmered for a while

I love fajitas....well actually I pretty much just love Mexican.

Can't stop eating today, will probably end up gaining at WI, I normally stick to fruit and yogurt for breakfast a couple of drinks and then mackerel salad with a large glass of water and nothing else until WI, but today I had the fruit salad, but then I've had 3 or 4 drinks, a syn free egg custard and an orange.... also put a jacket potato in the oven as I don't fancy just salad today... Ahh well I suppose if I don't loose I know why

Morning ladies

Cant believe its not raining here today & just saw the forecast & its supposed to be nice from next week!
Really must get out on my bike as haven't ridden in 2 weeks, but have some admin to do today to get ready for work in a few weeks! Cant say that makes me feel excited the thought of going back, but bills need to be paid!

Nikki, did you say when you went back to class last week that SW are now advocating a third of your plate has to be superfree on all 3 plans now? Its not a problem for me, as I do that all the time anyway, in fact I tend to have at least a half of my plate as SF as love veggies/salad. x
