Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Oh and what do you use to find out your % body fat? I know some scales do it but mine are just basic ones, almost bought some but wasn't sure how accurate they are! X

Hi Shellie, welcome & of course you can join us. We're all in a bit of a chatty mood tonight lol! Congrats on your fabulous weight loss & fingers crossed for you tomorrow

Thanks Kim!
It is good to find a nice place to start posting again! X

Oh crikey. I just made a pasta bake tonight, a whole onion, whole pepper, whole punnet of mushrooms, 300g pasta and 4 be good to your self sausages and 2 tins of tomatoes!

We had about 1/4 each tonight, I've put a tiny bit of the pasta only in with my salad tomorrow. And there is probably enough for a good 2 more meals. I didnt realise how much 300 g made.

Sounds yummy :) any tips with lasagne? Mine was a DISASTER!

At the moment, mine is 30.9%!!!! How embarrassing!!! So desperately want to get it to 20%. Healthy is between 17% and 24%, apparently.

I tested on 12th March, so will test again 12th April - fingers crossed!!

Ooo keep me updated hun :) I find it gives you so much more motivation alongside what the scales say.

I think id read that too. It says in my print out 20-24 is good and 15-19.5 is excellent. I was so surprised at how quick it can change though.

Finger crossed!

BMI machine at Tesco (or Boots)! I wouldn't trust my scales at home x

That works out at about 12oz, so only 3oz per portion....perfect portion!

I hope so, I was horrified. lol. Do you think losing 5% a month is do-able?

Feel stuffed though. Disnt realise it was the right portion size, thanks. I might try 2oz next time to see if that's a better amount for me.

Just wondering as you are getting closer to target do you find you need to drop your syns? I still have roughly 15, usually bit less during the week but sometimes a few over at the weekend so all evens out. X

I haven't really been going over 10 for the past few weeks, but I still had decent losses when I had 10-15 :)

Hi,
As I got close to my (original) target, I actually upped my syns. To be honest, I wasn't great at using them. On the day that I hit target, I lost 5.5lbs....
For me, the key was being totally relaxed with the plan. I have always followed red days. But I followed it to the letter.
Hope this helps. X

Annie, on the lasagne front, unfortunately OH says it is the one thing we can not compromise on, but I made the baked bean lasagne and oh my it was divine and OH loved it too!

We tend to just have regular lasagne on maybe a WI night but I have a half portion with extra super free usually. That white sauce is a devil on syns!

Oh dear, cant keep up!
Have the body % thing on my scales, but not sure how accurate they are, so must have a look in Boots.....do I want to know tho!
Syns......I have anywhere from 5 - 15, all depending how hungry etc I am, but doesnt seem to make any difference to my losses. 15 syns = 300 cals, so not a huse amount in the scheme of things, when I could eat that in fruit & veg!

That's what I was worried you'd say! Hehe, I will try the baked bean one - thanks hun x

True, especially when 10 is 200 so only a mullerlights worth of calories difference between them!

I think I'm going to have to call it a night - especially if I'm going for a run before work in the morning!

It's been great talking with you all, sweet dreams x

Why was it a disaster? Was it a meat or veggie lasagne? i cook a pretty mean one......!

Meat and completely dry. Will have to give it another go, I reckon!

Definately hun, when dieting and exercise combines it amazing what the body can do. I'll be look out for the 25% next month

Last year when I went on my cruise in May I took some size 8 white denim hotpants with me (very unforgiving) I weighed 9st 5 and couldnt do the button up! This year cruise I was 9st 6 and they fell down. I really couldnt believe how all the exercise really does make you lose the inches.

Is this a slimming world friendly one? Would luurrvvee the recipe if it is:)
