Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I found that too, my boobs have shrunk loads and still waiting for my thighs to catch up :p

Good luck for weds, though I'm sure If you're 100% until then you should be ok?
 
I've been looking back through my food diary - especially at the weekends - and although I've been 100% and had around 10 syns a day I still feel as though I'm eating too much and for the wrong reasons. I often find myself eating for the sake of eating (perhaps boredom and the fact that it is there) rather than hunger. Is this a bad thing? And does anyone else have the same problem? :(

You say that, i have just worked out my syns and had my allowance for the week and even gone over by 31 syns! Really had a heavy weekend., I weighed myself this morning of 9.10lb which not seen for ages but as was hungover i just craved a mac donalds and all the bad food, just weighed myself now and see 10 stone!!!!!

Oh dear im gutted :-(

I never weigh myself in the evening as we naturally weigh a couple of lbs heavier. I doubt you will see 10 stone if you weigh again in the morning!

yea good point , fingers crossed i wont, id be happy to stay same this week and know ill be gutted with a gain, been doing so well and now one weekend seems to have left me a little bit disappointed in myself!

got to have zero syns for the next three days because gone over my weekly allowance, had a majorily bad weekend so be suprised if dont gain, we shall see on wednesday.
 
These things happen I guess, it's just frustrating when they do! I just remind myself that I have the time and means to get back on track when it's out of my system and work on ways of controlling my need for a blowout :)

How long gave you been following SW?
 
been doing SW for 8 weeks so far, lost a stone a year agowhen on SW and put it all back on when got content in my relationship and had lots of takeaways together then xmas hit lol
 
I've been doing it for over a year and a half, and although I still have the odd blowout - I've reached a point where I make healthier decisions if we are going out, or having a takeaway. It did take me a while though!
 
Need some advice. I've really struggled this week - usually its because of a binge, but this week its because I've been staying at my OH house. His mum does the cooking and I feel really rude asking her to cook a certain way or to not eat what she has made cause she makes a real effort. Its not like everything is deep fried and consists of chicken nuggets lol

I think I've gained (which I don't mind, I'm still under 10st!), but my meals have been things like duck cooked in orange and red wine sauce (not even drizzled on after, or I'd ask her not to put it on mine) or with roast potatoes made in oil. All stuff that's very rich :S

I've been trying to reach for the superfree food, but there's not much more that I've been able to do.. Sooner or later its going to sabotage my losses!! I've tried to offer to cook, but I'm a guest so I'm not allowed, apparently!
 
I feel for you, I find it incredibly hard when eating at a friends when they are cooking - I feel I'm being cheeky or seeming fussy if I ask how things are being cooked or for things to be left out etc.

Perhaps you could explain to her that you are following slimming world and are doing really well - and suggest that you cook some of the meals for them all to try? Or maybe suggest some changes she could make to help you out? That way she would hopefully understand why you need to eat in a certain way and that you aren't being fussy or rude. What do you think she would say?

I think she'd take it really personally, eeeek. Me and OH have been together almost 18 months, so we know each other quite well, but she's super proud and I think she'd feel I was saying the way she did it wasn't good enough - its the opposite! So yummy that I could eat all day long!!

She wanted to know how I lost my 7.5lbs, but when I've tried to explain the plans to her, she always says that she doesn't have time (she's a teacher). I'd be worried that if I did cook, she'd find the food quite plain (which personally I quite like). I've cooked for the OH and his dad when she's been out and they loved it, so perhaps I should try and enlist their help?
 
Eek, that makes it difficult! Yeah, perhaps you could send them in to persuade her :)
 
Oh, guess what! Got an Oasis size 8 dress on today! Still a bit tight around the hips, but got 4 months to make it comfy :)

Oh dear! Its a difficult one, as I'm sure you wouldn't want 2 offend her, so maybe if you feel you can't say anything this late on, grit your teeth & put this week behind you. Maybe next time you go just be up front & honest & tell her as much as you love her cooking its detrimental for you. I'm sure if she cares for you, which sounds as tho she does, she will understand & be open to your needs next time.

I plod on slowly with my losses, but today I measured myself & I've lost 29cms from all over in 2 months! Throw the scales away girls, they are the work of the devil lol!!!
