Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Yep! They have loads of workouts on there!

Urgh! Lost half a pound this week, so I'm 9 stone and half a pound! Really wanted to be 9 stone for my birthday (which is tomorrow)....hey ho, onwards and upwards.

I'm planning a cheeky diet break tomorrow. I'm going to be good all day, but I'm making myself a cake tomorrow, and we're having fish and chips for dinner! Rock and Roll eh!

A loss is a loss :) well done!

Sounds like you've got tomorrow covered, I hope you have a lovely day!

I'm the same height as you & was 8.7 last year. I felt good at that weight but must admit wanted to be a bit lower. Just see how you feel & look at 8.7 & take it from there.

Yeah i was the same once i got down to 8st 7 (which was my goal from the start) i did want to go down to 8st. so iv decided 8st is my goal :D cant wait roll on summer!!! xx

I'll have to check it out, Charlie. I think this year is going to be the first summer that I've felt body confident. I'm already walking around the shops looking at things I'd never dared look at before! It's a nice feeling - I'd always hated shopping.

Happy birthday for tomorrow Charlotte! Hope you have a fab day :) It's not all about going out and getting drunk - I'd much prefer to use my syns on something I'd still remember the next day!! Hehe x

Definitely agree with that - my friends can't understand why I sometimes I chose not to drink on a night out!

And snap with the body thing. I actually can't wait to wear short denim shorts or a bikini - I've never been able to say that before!

Yikes I'd scare the neighbours!!!

Happy birthday for tomorrow Charlotte & enjoy your cake & fish & chips...not SW I'm sure

I'd definitely feel comfortable wearing a bikini now, but I still want to tone up a bit first! How long til you start noticing a difference, do you reckon?

I'm relatively new to running, been doing it on and off for around a year I think. Another app that is good is 'endomondo', my OH has that on his BB and I have a version on my iPhone. That also lets you track other sports too :) I found that if I stick to a regime, running becomes addictive as its a great feeling when you come back from a run! If you're wanting some inspiration - the women's health uk website has a great walking to running guide. Good luck!

I want to start running - I tend to start and then stop... I don't feel confident running on my own and OH won't run with me; I feel like I'm holding him back and he feels the same. Thinking about joining a running club maybe; but it won't fit in with my work hours. Shame :-( well done you guys on persevering!

Either way that inch loss is fab :)

I use the Nike+ app for running in my iPhone as I like that it reminds me at milestones and keeps a record online. I can also set targets and challenges. Let me know how you get on with your app.

Wow Kim, my runs are nothing compared to yours - I run 5km at least 3 times a week but am trying to do it at least 5 times. In a way it has helped knowing that you ran that far as I was worried I was over doing it and would injure my knees but I think I'm doing alright! :) Had a terrible run today though - lost motivation and kept walking, I think it had a lot to do with forgetting my water bottle!

Anyone watching supersize vs super skinny tonight? It's a guilty pleasure of mine, I usually watch it whilst chomping on a treat size choc, haha!

As long as you have good trainers you should be ok but try not to run too much on tarmac as when your older it plays havoc on the knees!
Don't worry we all have days when we have no motivation but once you get the bug I bet you'll be training for half marathons ! It might be an idea to enter a 10km in a few weeks & see how you get on as
the running season is starting. I found it kept me motivated entering events & there's loads everywhere.
I've just watched supersize .....how about that anorexic girl, she looked fabulous

Thanks for the tips, I have proper running trainers with special gel insoles that absorb shock. Might start taking cod liver tablets again (although stupidly I think this is synned?) as my knees aren't brilliant anyway!

And I totally agree, the anorexic woman looked absolutely fabulous after she'd put on weight - like a totally different person!

Have you tried Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM ....very good for joints.
Oh dear if you have dodgy knees already why run, get all the gear & get out cycling.....wish someone had told me that years ago lol!

I'm really not very confident on the roads and even less so off them. OH doesn't finish work till later than me and probably wouldn't have the energy to join me. We go cycling at the weekends, but I guess I enjoy running more and find it easier to do. Don't get me wrong, I have no pain or anything in my knees - and if I ever do I will certainly take that as a sign to stop running! They have just always crunched and clicked a lot!

Well as long as you get no pain, go for it as enjoying your sport is what its all about x
